How far we have fallen since. At least at that time after there was patriotism and no one was confused as to what a woman is.
A lot of my relatives and friends have died since 9/11/01. The United States is not the same country anymore. The highly patriotic “Greatest Generation” are all but gone. The selfless, God loving, patriotic culture is no more.
R.I.P. All.
Few months on the job in the academy. 50% almost resigned that morning but we all got through it. Downtown in FN brown uniform shirts & completely confused… God Bless America!!!
9/11/2001 was really really bad.
9/10/2025 was pretty bad day for free speech and pretty shocking.
My kids don’t fathom the trauma of 9/11. It’s hard to relay how bad it was and how traumatic it was for the country.
Unfortunately watching Charlie Kirk get slaughtered on Almost live TV slightly relays the shock and trauma similar to 9/11.
I know the events are far from equal in devastation but Traumatic just the same.
I’m sorry this generations kids have to absorb this trauma. Like him or dislike him it was a bad day for America and free speech.

I remember! I lost someone close to me and it was a hard time watching the families suffer the loss of their loved ones. It’s a shame there are evil people in the world. Life is hard enough.
It only took 19 illegal migrants who hated America to accomplish all that death and destruction in 2001. Many more with similar intent here now, and the left whines about DHS/ICE. Stuck on stupid.

I remember it very well and will never forget. I was at work, when I heard the news I immediately went to get my kids from school.
I just felt numb and watched the news all day and the next.
Sadly this same rage I felt from 2001, I feel again today after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

The pro - Palestinians just marched at the Twin Towers Memorial screaming, “ Allahu Akbar .” Things have certainly changed since the destruction of the Twin Towers. Rest in Peace to all the innocent people and first responders who died as a result of the 9 / 11 terrorist attacks.
The History Channel is playing them all day today after 0900. They used to play the documentaries leading up to 9/11. Apparently it’s only worth their time to do it on the day off. Gotta make way for all those reality shows now….

Was one of the saddest, bleakest days - watched the news for days. Hard to believe people could have such hate to destroy things/people that just weren’t like them. Yesterday, same thing happened. Hate and destruction of a man who just had ideas different from theirs.
Never forget 9/11. Always remember there are monsters that walk among us. The Thin Blue Line is all that separates us and our safety from these monsters. These beasts must be identified and neutralized early on before their evil acts are completed. Whether it's the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the mass murders of 9/11 or our family/friends that bleed out curbside in the killing fields of Chicago - the monsters must be destroyed.

I agree, it's like another world from then. But really it was still terrible then too. People have embraced trashy as normal for decades. Of course we are in a turbo decent since then. Class of 30 Lts getting made 22 Sept. Will be the last class from this list. Plans are for a new list out late winter/early spring with a new class by mid May of next year which makes sense for a class every fall and spring. And I’m sure they want to redo the merit list. The current merit list is all from the brown/carter regime.

Every year on 9/11 I would receive well wishes and thank you for your service text messages from friends and family. Not one this year. Just goes to show that the media’s constant beating of the “police are the bad guys” drum has done so much to shape everyone’s perspective. Don’t know if we will every climb out of this hole.

The speaker at the Naperville 9/11 Memorial today spoke of her experience being in the North Tower that day. I think it was good because it took us through that place, minute by minute. I think people have forgotten…or at least aren’t as shocked as we were then.
I'm frequently reminded when I read the line-of-duty deaths posted to the Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP), officers still dying from injuries / illnesses / suffering borne from the evil of 09/11/01.
Now the country is full of communists!

I'm a 5th generation Chicago city guy, born, raised and returned many times - this time it looks like for good.
But, I spent my post college years in New York City, being a Brooklyn public school teacher then earning (what proved to a worthless) MBA degree from Lib Woke, Feminist New York University) - I walked the streets, rode the subways ran around the Central Park resevoir during the most violent years in New York City or any American city in American history 1 year over 2,000 murders.
I left shortly before the First Islamic terrorist attack not he WTC in 1993 and predicted worse Islamic terrorist attacks - I was right.
We should do like the anti American, Antifa, BLM as* holes who are trying to substitute THEIR holiday, holidays for traditional American holidays.
MLK JR day for Washington's Birthday. Communists workers day for our real Labor Day, Juneteenth for July 4th Independence Day. Indigenous Peoples day for "Columbus Day", Kwanza and Hanachua for Christmas.
And there were some testers this year to try to highjack our traditional American Memorial Day - make it Saint George Floyd/Fentanyl Floyd Memorial Day. Hey it's what they do.
IMO - we should now make Sept 10th and Sept 11 a special holiday for the Americans massacred on 9-11-01 and also add Saint Martyr Charlie Kirk's death.
If your local Woke, Lib Leftist, BLM, Antifa, DEI Demorats won't make 9-10, 9/11 a special holiday, holiday, then just take it. Js and Muslims make, take their own holidays, holidays. We should do the same.

I remember the evening of 9-11 seeing a local news cast had a reporter on-scene outside of Chicago Ridge Mall doing a live report, the camera showed the muslims on the street cheering. That one went down the memory hole pretty quickly, can’t find it archived anywhere.
I hope the reason those 50% almost resigned was because they wanted to join the Armed Forces after the sneak attack by the moose-limbs on 9-11, because if they almost quit because they were scared or pissed about standing on a corner, they had no business being the police.
