So why does this guy get held over?
DUPAGE COUNTY, Ill. - A judge has ordered a suburban Chicago man to remain in custody after police reportedly found a loaded gun during a traffic stop in Naperville over the weekend.
Prosecutors said 30-year-old Deion Kidd, a convicted felon from Plainfield, appeared in court Monday morning and a judge granted the state's request to deny him pretrial release.
He is charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon with a previous felony conviction, another count of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, and several misdemeanor and petty offenses, including resisting a police officer and having open alcohol in a vehicle.
Are DuPage judges more intelligent than Cook County judges?
We all know that answer.
Or did DuPage get tipped off by Porkulous that being tough on crime was now the "in" thing and this is the beginning of a new trend?
Seeing DuPage voting patterns the past few elections, a distinct possibility.

The state's attorney Bob Berlin has had multiple press conferences where he mentions that criminals should stay in Crook Co. Hellinois. Coming to DuPage to commit crime is a bad idea we don't coddle criminals. Now this article says he lives in Plainfield. So he should have stayed in Will Co. homey don't play & neither does DuPage Co. law enforcement
Left wing activist judges will all be a little tougher on crime right up until the governor’s election.

You really don’t hear too much from JB Fatass lately. It’s nice not to see his gigantic head and smug look in the television.
Cook County judges are just lazy and don't do the MAX in charging even under the current BS Safety Act. DuPage is consistent and have an excellent SA office that always goes the extra mile to house whoever they can.
They must be getting tired of foreign invaders bringing guns into their town. The NPD has recovered over 20 guns in the past several years from the Top Golf parking lot.
He got held over because he was arrested anywhere other than Crook County! But don’t worry….JB Prickster will be tweaking the Safety act laws! To allow more criminals out on the street? Prickster said, Crime is down that’s what proves the Safety act is working! But we all know crime is down since most law enforcement has given up…….Crime is down and we can prove it since the CTA has had a great run of criminal offenses? Arson to person, stabbing and beating……while being video taped
This is a regular pattern in DuPage County. The prosecutors appear to be very good at their jobs presenting their cases for detention.
Too bad Cook County Prosecutors can't be as good at their jobs.
If he was in cook county he’d probably be released, have his gun retuned to him, cleaned polished and loaded
DuPage Cty Democrats judges are on the increase, so it is just a matter of time.

Dupage County is trying to become McHenry County. It’s going to be hard. Dupage is still run by majority of weak democrats while McHenry is mostly all anti criminal Republicans. McHenry still hammers people which is why crime is minimal. Consequence
Big win for election integrity at SCOTUS this morning.
In a 7-2 opinion written by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court determined Congressman Mike Bost has standing to challenge Illinois' mail-in ballot rule that allows for the counting of votes up to two weeks after Election Day. Lower courts had tossed Bost's lawsuit arguing he did not have standing to sue the state for violating federal election law.
Roberts also had some telling words about the need to ensure elections are legit and earn the confidence of the voters.

In short... Comparing the C(r)OOK vs. DuPage State Attorneys, judges and the like, there is NO comparison. Kudo's to that entire county of police, investigators, prosecutors and judges. They run a tight ship.
All you commenting on he’s in DuPage..don’t fool yourself. They’ve been leaning left for awhile now. This is just a classic case of NIMBY.

DuPage County went for Cum-a-la-la 55%, down from 57.5% for Dementia Joe, and up from 54.2% for Hitlery. The majority of the electorate is still stuck on stupid.
At one point DuPage was holding carjackers and car thieves with no bond if they made the mistake of crossing the line. Dunno if they’re still doing that, but I sure hope so.
Midterm elections are getting closer.... Gotta get out the Democrat vote from those that might sit on the sidelines.
DuPage County was a staunch Republican County until people from Cook County started moving there.
He's getting all that extra skin removed and is donating it to villages in Somali to feed the children.
