Another "Isolated" Stabbing
A man was stabbed and seriously injured during an argument aboard a Red Line train on the South Side overnight, marking at least the second stabbing reported on the city’s train lines this weekend.
Officers responded to reports of a person stabbed on the 69th Street platform around 2:52 a.m. and found a 34-year-old man with stab wounds to his neck and chest, an officer at the scene said.
The Chicago Fire Department transported him to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
There are already thousands of "No Guns" signs on the CTA, stations, platforms and train. How long until Conehead proposes banning knives like England?
Somebody commented that the Park District OT was cancelled to redirect extra bodies to the trains in an attempt to stave off the threatened Federal cuts to money. True?

CTA is a crime zone. Travel at your own risk.
That is not why the canceled parks. CTA overtime will be fully staffed no matter what. From folks with 25+ years to POs with 4 years on. The amount of people signing up wouldn’t have changed just because parks was open. Old timers have said they don’t want to work it, well easy solution because everyone with time on finally got a chance to work it and has been coming back ten fold.
At least they are not bringing guns on the trains, and are paying heed to the no guns allowed signs.!

The management of the cta is another patronage army of woke Democrats. The ridership has really dropped in recent years due to the crime. They don’t realize less ridership means lost revenue. And lost revenue means they will have to tax the taxpayers. But don’t crackdown on the crazy people, the scum, the bums and the thugs that they allow to infest their properties.
Solution: Assign multiple officers (2) to every CTA train platform and every train. Conduct stop and frisk. Enforce the Ordinances that are already on the books for knives and utility knives. Install more cameras that use facial recognition. Enforce curfew laws. Have ASA and Chief Judge hold PSA/news conference that no bail requirement will be eliminated for crimes happening on trains, platforms, and stations for the public’s safety and confidence.
Have local media run stories that the City will be offering rewards for the arrest and conviction of any violent offender on CTA property. Have media run photos of any offender on CTA property. Create a new ordinance prohibiting knives or other cutting instruments/devices on CTA property. Make sure the media stops reporting on knife attacks, not reported must not have happened.
Ops what the hell was I thinking! These are all isolated incidents. No need to waste money that is solely needed for illegals.

Did one of the few adults left in city government finally realize that federal $ comes with federal oversight?
For now a liberal judge has ruled that the states SNAP and EBT programs are somehow immune from oversight, but serious people know that will be overturned and the state will eventually have to show their books.
