You know how leftists think a police involved shooting is supposed to go down?
- officer perceives a threat;
- officer evaluates said threat;
- officer must interpret the threat through a lens that includes age, race, sex, sexual orientation, social dynamics, economics, oppression, history and twenty other factors;
- officer must double check his/her evaluation of the threat through his/her own lens of age, race, sex, sexual orientation, social dynamics, oppressive history of ancestors he/she never met and twenty other factors;
- officer may - but is not required - to fire a single shot. (UPDATE - that single shot MUST be at the weapon held OR an extremity (leg, arm) but not to close to a vital artery or organ;
- return to Step 2 and repeat the process.
It's ridiculous in the extreme.
And as more video comes out and more interviews are forthcoming, it's being revealed that she was a trained agitator, was the lead car in a convoy interfering with law enforcement, and that she struck the officer with her vehicle - a vehicle weighing in excess of 3,000 pounds making it a far more dangerous weapon than most.

If you go to Vigilant Fox you can view the shooting. Look closely and you can see the officer in front of the vehicle, take aim, followed by either smoke from the discharge or it’s the bullet striking the window and shattering the glass.
Now deceased mother of three, the youngest being under her parental care, decides that there is something of greater value to herself than her child.
And chooses accordingly, until reality relieves her of any further parental obligations.

This woman should have been at work so she could provide a good life for the child. That school opened in 1972, can you imagine how many minds they have warped over time. Now you know why there are so many radical nuts among us. It's disturbing and frightening to say the least.

This is the best way to sum up how the left and right view these types of incidents….
The left will always judge these types of incidents through the lens of a moral argument. They will say that the officer didn’t have to do what he did, while at the same time completely disregarding what the offender did.
The right will judge the officer’s actions based upon what the officer had a legal right to do.
What the left refuses to understand is that the officer is judged in criminal court, and not a moral court. Plus, moral arguments are subjective based upon each individual. Also, the left does not view our country, and especially our criminal justice system as legitimate, so it is pointless to even engage in a discussion with a lefty whenever one of these incidents occurs.
And the lamestream media will run the video of the obese woman getting knocked on her arse in Broadview … just like when they would knock the fire dept with the video of a drinking fireman at the firehouse a few years back
The protestors are used to doing whatever kind of violence they want against the police and them being told how virtuous they are by the media, not so much anymore. The mainstream media is done along with the networks that back them.

Am I the only one that wants to commend that ICE agent for his excellent shot placement? He fired three shots and hit his target with zero collateral damage while there was a dynamic crowd all around the vehicle. The first shot presumably struck the driver in the head and the two follow up shots also hit the moving target as the ICE agent was being hit by the accelerating vehicle.
Considering his recent history of getting dragged by an arrestee's vehicle, they should offer him an inside job like firearms instructor. Well done officer! I hope that you have the opportunity to come and speak with CPD as a motivational speaker.

It's not widely known, but Minnesota has some very generous welfare benefits - my guess is that these two were 1) running away from Colorado's child protective services due to the "spouse's" reported child abuse, 2) being paid to agitate, and 3) get in on all of those scammy business deals before the funds are cut off and Tim Walz is sentenced to some reeducation in Marion, Illinois' best-known federal university.

“There are definitely some major questions here," said Eugene O'Donnell, a professor of law at John Jay College, who has studied the issue of the use of deadly force. Among the key ones, he said, were what threat the officers believed Carey posed at the time they fired the shots and whether they were influenced by police radio transmissions reporting that there were "shots fired," causing them to conclude – wrongly, as it turned out -- that Carey was armed and dangerous.
David E. Haynes, an attorney who has sued police departments alleging brutality and wrongful shootings, agreed that Carey’s actions, while erratic, do not necessarily support a justifiable shooting.
“The exact facts are not known, particularly in the moments right before the shooting,” he said. “…Trying to breach a barrier, and not being able to, does not in itself justify lethal force."
Still, O'Donnell noted that both the Secret Service and Capitol Police have special missions to protect the president .

I think that legally the ICE agent will be OK. That said the socialist in Minneapolis will try for a soviet style show trial to appease the mob just to put the agents thought some grief and show they are relevant. Again, in the long run he will be OK, but in the short run a lot of stress.
