Porky by the Numbers

This is what's been happening in Illinois since Fata$$ took over:

  • Pritzker’s Illinois: the numbers

    • Taxes are up $1,434 per person since Pritzker took office.

    • State spending has grown $18 billion (51%) since 2019 — nearly double inflation.

    • Illinois now has the highest property taxes in the nation.

    • State & local pension debt totals $218 billion — even $1M/day wouldn’t cover it for centuries.

    • Illinois lost 2,616 businesses to other states (1994–2023), with losses accelerating since 2017.

    • Gas tax doubled in 2019 and now stands at 48.3¢/gallon, costing drivers about $143 more per year.

    Is Illinois better off?

That answer would be, "No, not at all."

But people keep voting for this crap.

Hopefully, with the rest of this moron from Venezuela, he has knowledge of the Dominion voting machine machines. Let’s hope that this scandal can be wrapped wide open, and Democrats could be marched off to prison where they belong.

This stuff happening is the exact reason why the teachers and their unions are teaching a dumb them down mentality. If they can't understand they are getting screwed over then they just go along with what the lame stream media tells them. No critical thinking but hear mentality.

It's amazing to see that almost all the counties in Illinois other than Cook and the collar counties around Chicago our Republican. The Chicago area should be its own state.

Pritzker bought his way into office when he paid off the WS & SS Revrunds after his (on federal tape) disparaging comment about Emil Jones to Blagojevich. That demographic continues to vote for him.

Voting machines at polling places should be used as the only voting possibility, and on Election Day only, after identification is shown in person to election judges at the polling places. Can’t make it-tough shit. Want to mail a vote in-sorry, can’t do that. Early voting-not anymore, convicted felon-no vote for you, not an American citizen…do I really have to clarify that too. Okay, American citizens ONLY!

Pritzker had never worked until he became governor. Yet he’s going to follow through with taxing the tips of hard working people. What an effete, pompous ass. Every working person should turn their backs on him at election time.

This is from a couple of years ago. The numbers are worse now.

At least the taxpayers saw through his “fair” tax plan!

Illinois homeowners now spend the second most on property taxes in the U.S. and more than double the national average.

[…]

Illinoisans now pay 2% more of their annual income to state taxes than before Pritzker took office.

[…]

…the state still boasts the worst credit rating in the nation.

[…]

…because Pritzker missed the loan repayment deadline, and this balance remains in the red, federal law mandates business owners pay progressively higher taxes each year until the debt is repaid. It is estimated to have cost businesses at least $64 million since 2021.

[…]

Pritzker exacerbated pandemic job losses by shuttering businesses statewide with varying degrees of success at limiting virus transmission.

[…]

Pritzker’s shutdowns permanently closed 35% of Illinois’ small businesses just one year into the pandemic. Two years later, the state is still missing 11.1% of those businesses while the number of small businesses increased 3.1% nationally.

[…]

Pritzker extended his own emergency executive powers for the 34th month in September as President Joe Biden declared the pandemic official over in the U.S. He has since issued a 35th disaster proclamation, holding onto these pandemic powers.

[…]

Illinois’ record of taxes and fees has caused the state to become one of the worst places to do business in the Midwest. Among Illinois and its neighbors, only Illinois dropped in the Tax Foundation’s Business Tax Climate rankings since 2018. Illinois’ business climate dropped seven places, to 36th from 29th in four years.

[…]

But since Pritzker became governor, Illinois’ pension debt has skyrocketed an additional $72 billion – reaching $313 billion in unpaid obligations during 2022, Moody’s calculated. These payments now consume more than 25 cents of every dollar spent in the state budget.
