Remember these idiots back in 2019?
The recent trip to Venezuela by a group calling itself a Chicago Teachers Union delegation has upset some union members and expats who question the point of the tour and take issue with the group’s praise of the country’s disputed government.
The four travelers, who crowdfunded the July trip under the banner of the CTU, met with Venezuelan government officials and educators, visited a commune and were featured in local media.
They wrote online about wanting to connect with Venezuelan teachers, students and unionists, criticized U.S. economic sanctions against the South American nation and wrote admiringly of its socialism, its communes and high literacy rates.
But critics say the group glossed over Venezuela’s ongoing political and economic crises and were excessively complimentary of President Nicolás Maduro, whose administration has been accused in recent United Nations reports of “grave” human rights violations and violence against dissenters.
The Chicago Teachers Union on Saturday promoted a protest of the Trump administration's action in Venezuela hosted by a who's who of far-left organizations, including a group that openly supports socialism.
Activists from the ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) Coalition, along with activists from the Party for Socialism and Liberation, organized just hours after news that Venezuela's socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro had been captured by U.S. special forces in a daring mission during the dead of night. By Saturday afternoon, protesters in cities across the nation came together with signs and promotional material made specially for the occasion.
Test scores are going what direction again? Attendance numbers are headed where? But gotta support their commie brethren.

I don't get CTU/CPS's main goal, teaching children to read or write isn't one of them.

The CTU are the same devils telling you that we must accept “illegals” and those fleeing political violence- yet no actual protest against those inflicting that upon Venezuelans? Why? Because every teachers Union in this country is a tool of the communist party & they want to ensure their seat of power if communism becomes widespread in this country. Teachers unions once represented a proud profession- now they are nothing more than a PAC for a communist agenda. They need to be taken down. Sadly, I think we’ll see it mainstream in the next decade bc too many 20 plus think it’s the cats meow and NYC is what’s to come in every facet of our government. I’ve got another 20-30 years left on this earth. I have a feeling it’s going to be unpleasant on my way out- unless the communist aggression from within teachers unions gets annihilated.
I wonder if the Venezuelan government gave those teachers a tour of their military mowing down protestors in armored vehicles.

When will the FEDs start investigating the CTU?
The crowded, filthy and unsanitary conditions were perfectly fine but now they’re insisting for spa like conditions for any illegal being held in Broadview.
In all the years on the job and numerous districts that I had been in we never allowed anyone like bums, drunks homeless and troublemakers to hang in the station. They got tossed out immediately. I had the occasion to go into a northside station do a traffic accident report. After climbing over the bodies (the stench was unbearable) I asked the desk guy how he could put up with it, he just shrugged and couldn’t give an answer. I thought what disease was he going to bring home to his family. I have no sympathy for any LEOs who put up with that. The union should have stepped in and created some type of an action. The City knows the police will never complain, and will always give in to the CTU because they know if they don’t it will be all hell to pay. And the CTU knows how to manipulate the news media.

The city decided that’s where they were going to house the illegals until a more permanent solution could be found. That’s not on the copper working the desk. At the end of the day, we are employees of the city, the city said this is where they live for now, you as a copper working the desk are not going to be able to kick out the 100+ illegals from the lobby. For starters, you’re going to immediately get stopped by every supervisor there. Secondly, good luck keeping your job when you’re at the police board trying to explain why you ended up doing 35 TRRs and starting a brawl in the lobby with the 100 military aged males after directly disobeying your employer.
