An Indictment, Finally
The "puncher" caught a couple cases:
A man accused of punching several women in Chicago's Loop appeared in court Friday, where he was indicted.
Marlon Miller is facing three counts of aggravated battery.
Some have argued the 40-year-old suspect should have never been on the streets.

In fact, there was a missed opportunity quite a while ago:
- Miller was also accused of throwing a milkshake at a woman near the Chicago Theatre last month and punching two women in the face on Lake Street in October. After that incident, a judge placed him on electronic monitoring.
We thought the "Crimesha Precedent" allowed for Felony charges whenever a beverage was utilized in an assault? Or was this yet another case of the political clout of the victim being the deciding factor in appropriate charging?
Don't worry, we know the answer to that one.

Your honor...A milkshake is not as dangerous as a root beer soda....
Technically, under the law, any battery on the public way or the CTA should be a felony based on location....
That will be the day when laws designed to deter such behavior which actually be prosecuted in order to deter such behavior.
No doubt that so very many missed opportunities to desist by being deceased will resume being availible sooner then later.
