The Slum Times has turned into a joke, more so than it ever was back in the day. The past few months, it's simply been an anti-ICE anti-law-and-order rag that we wouldn't even let a parakeet crap on.
This article is just ridiculous:
Four men — one from Venezuela and three from Mexico — are all likely heading to prison after they were arrested early this year before the Trump administration’s aggressive deportation operation swung into full force in Chicago.
They were arrested about the time President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, visited Chicago in late January after saying the city would be “ground zero” for mass deportations due to its sanctuary status.
What makes their cases unusual, according to federal court records, is that one of them admitted to a serious gun charge and the others, while pleading guilty to entering the country illegally, previously served prison time for gun and drug offenses.
The article highlights the "plight" of a number of felons:
- gun trafficker selling a "ghost gun" to police;
- five time ILLEGAL with a conviction for fifty pounds of cocaine;
- another UUW offender;
- another multiple charged ILLEGAL ALIEN;
- a suspect in a triple homicide
Why would the Slum Times waste ink and paper on these persons who contribute exactly zero to society? Who gives a rats ass if these types get sentenced to months or years in prison prior to being ejected from the country?
Their website is a constant stream of pop-up ads begging for money, so we would hope they're going to finally go under one of these days.

The Chicago Suntimes has been a joke for years. I emailed one of the editors a few years ago on how the news paper portrayed the Chicago Police. It ended with me saying I’ll never buy their news paper. I haven’t. I hope they go out of business.
The fuckin' loser ass reporters can get a job at Starbucks and go do some leftwing podcasts.

I had a few flights during this holiday season. Once upon a time, there would always be newspapers lying around the boarding gate and left on the plane. On the last flight, prior to landing, the flight attendant made an announcement that they were coming through the cabin one more time to collect garbage, cups, and newspapers. That's when it occurred to me that I haven't seen a newspaper lying around an airport for well over a decade, probably two. It isn't just Chicago. There aren't any newspapers lying around in any other cities as well.
I wonder whose bright idea it was to take a long time newspaper of a major city and stack it with leftist reporters and writers ? How has that been working out ? There are no " journalists" in Chicago these days. I long for the days of real investigative journalists, real story tellers. There is much to write about and to uncover in this town and we need this, but it is a lost art in this town. Neil Steinburg still thinks he is relevant as he wonders into the city now and then for a afternoon lunch and declares all is well in Chicago.

When you print stories for people who don't buy newspapers and look at the ads in your paper that pay the bills, of course your gonna go under. Ya gotta know your audience. Now their begging for money in a empty arena. Woke destroys.
Imagine if Elon bought it out and turned it into a source of actual news that does real investigative journalism. That would terrify the status quo who are so used to a compliant media.

Sun Times is printed by the Tribune. The Sunday edition is not available on Saturday evening. Sports reporting is a joke. There is no business section to speak of, but they still have Neil Steinberg. Oh boy.

Since they went to a ‘no charge’/donation business model, I’ve been digitally reading them without paying. Yea I have to listen to a 20 second video every now and then, but if they want to act like a Communist society works, I will accommodate them out of business!

My dad would buy the Sunday paper at church. It was very thick. Now, even the death notices are sparse. My mom would cut coupons, and I'd pull the tv guide. The paper was something to look forward to, and I remember the "Official Newsboy" stars news boys wore on their coat. If there was a heater story, they'd bark out the headlines while standing on the corner.
Fake news and more lies don't require much space.
The only reason is that the Sun Times has a Better Sports Section & fewer people die in the Slum Times than the Tribune!
Buy newspapers? Their target demographic can’t even read a newspaper. But Scum Times and Fibune weren’t worried about that small problem because they were being funded with our tax dollars through USAID.

I haven’t looked at a Chicago newspaper in decades. I can only imagine what the sports section looks like now. Probably so woke that they give top billing to the female sports results now like it is a legit thing, WNBA, Ha. I would imagine they have some purple haired LBGTQ type working the sports beat.
99% of Chicago media is on the left. Use archive.ph or other such alternatives to get around lefty paywalls. Do support sites like CWB or Contrarian.

That paper, which I cancelled about 15 years ago and, would’ve read if it was free and won’t be getting my name in its Obit section, caters to the migrant crowd that wouldn’t spend 1 cent to purchase the paper, while it continuously alienated its once supportive subscribers who now want nothing to do with. Can’t wait for it to close.
Trump talks tough but is rapidly losing control of the Country, due to mass attrition. He really needs to shut up, neplace underperforming Administration, quit politicing with other Countries, and get the USA back into Constitutional Order. He also needs to quit being afraid ofmFederal Judges who rule against them. Just ignore them, Trump, others before ou did, all the time. And get a decent haircut.
