I certainly believe ICE being deployed played a huge part in the drop in crime. Prior to, illegals were at every Home Depot. They started doing snatch and grabs at the one on 87th Street. There was a homicide at a Home Depot. Illegals were downtown joining protests. They were walking through alleys and stealing things out of yards and selling them at the Swap-O-Rama. The majority of them were wearing ankle monitors and had formed their own street gangs. They were traveling on Divy bikes in Chicago’s most dangerous neighborhoods. They were hanging out in neighborhoods that I’ve been afraid to walk in for years. They were driving around without a DL. They lead the numbers in full extradition arrest warrants.
After the deployment, they began hiding out. They were afraid to drive. They were afraid to leave their homes. Home Depot’s were able to remove the extra fencing that they had to put up to keep them from running in. They were no longer standing in the middle of the street with their babies selling water and kitty cat, etc.

This is true. Venezuelan involved murders and shootings were extremely common. We don’t get nearly as many after ICE started grabbing people. It really did just fade away for the most part.
Remember CTU has a relationship with Venezuelan communist regime.
Apparently, some do not appreciate the value of basketball being played during the witching hours.
