Another "Isolated" CTA Murder
A 37-year-old man was found stabbed to death aboard a Blue Line train in the Loop early Saturday morning.
CPD and the fire department responded to the Clark-Lake station after the man was found unresponsive and bleeding on a train around 2:27 a.m. Investigators determined the man had suffered two stab wounds, one to the chest and one to the abdomen. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
This keeps Chicago on track for under three-hundred homicides (seven every ten days).

When he says "isolated", he means it's only isolated to a particular "community" and/ or is isolated to the CTA.
It's like saying the War in Ukraine is "isolated"... you know, isolated to Ukraine.

CTA has an insane level of low crime and some has moved to high level crime. The CPD has not moved to ending crime on CTA. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

The problems on CTA aren’t on the platforms, they’re on the trains themselves.

I was there for that. Everyone thought the victim was having a seizure or overdosing until they flipped him on his side and saw him coughing up blood. And then the CTA units there were so happy that the beat car took the paper instead of them. Looks like we’re definitely gonna loose all that federal funding.

With all the video surveillance, no one in these hi tech play station gaming rooms observed any suspicious activity in progress. Especially in the wee hours of the morning. Or are video gamers just there to retrieve the archived copies of the captured images for investigators?

Had to go to office Sunday. An occupied CTA patrol car was on lower Wacker near where LaSalle is. In office for 90 minutes, pulled out and still there. I would have to guess the GPS tracker in the car shows they're on post. More Chicago do nothing salaries.
