Here comes another completely avoidable budget shortfall that Fata$$ will fill with more taxes:
U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy today exposed that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)’s review of Illinois’ non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) program found nearly 1-in-5 licenses to have been issued illegally. Illinois has 30 days to come into compliance and revoke the illegally issued licenses—or risk losing $128 million in federal highway funding.
“I need our state partners to understand that they work for the American people, not illegal immigrants who broke the law illegally entering our country and continue to break it by operating massive big rigs without the proper qualifications,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy. “Biden and Buttigieg forced Americans to share their roads with unqualified and unvetted foreign drivers, but the Trump Administration is putting the needs of American families first where they belong.”
Twenty percent of CDL are issued / have been issued to ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Here's a novel idea - how about Illinois politicians look out for....Illinois citizens? You know, comply with common sense laws meant to keep roads safe and citizens alive? Instead of catering to ILLEGAL ALIENS who shouldn't be in the Country, let alone having their names and addresses be used for illegally voting.
(oh, did we say that part out loud?)

It is reported that Springfield is making progress on a Bears deal. How much of a hosing will the tax payers take on that deal.
Illinois will sue and a democrat-appointed judge will prevent Illinois from losing the funding.

How convenient Fat Ass built a Sectary of States office in the middle of China Town. Everyday there are lines of CCP representatives just waiting to get their DL or State ID the first step in getting all the benefits the State has to offer. Well that's 20% of a specific type of CDL, the non-domiciled CDL, which is the 5% of CDL drivers that are not citizens of USA, Canada or Mexico. So we are talking 1% of all Illinois CDLs are held by illegals, /that we know of/, and any amount is too many.
This is outrageous! Illinois democrats always put the citizens last. When will the democrat voters wake up and get fed up? Aren’t they just a little suspicious of this? This should infuriate every single Illinois legal citizen
Part of the downfall of governor Ryan was the selling of licences by corrupt employees of the secretary of state.
One of those drivers caused a fatal when another driver ran over an always unspecified piece that had fallen off of the illegal driver's truck. The resulting fire killed the entire family in the minivan.
That illegal driver with the fraudulent license didn't actually run into anyone yet the media outcry was loud and long. Prosecutions followed.
How about cuts in government instead?

The Federal government stopped a 3.5 million grant to the Illinois Secretary of State to publish the commercial driver's test in Spanish. I wonder why when the SOS already offers the test in spanish ? And, commercial drivers must be able to read and write English as a condition of getting that license so why have the test in a foreign language? Nothing more than more pandering to the Mexican American political class. And, a 150 million grant for HIV in Illinois also was stopped.
Democrat governors are WITHHOLDING No tax on tips and no tax on overtime from their citizens even though it is now the law.

When my wife renewed her license at a southern Illinois facility, I noticed a group of half a dozen Mexicans accompanied by an older gentleman who acted as a translator. They were ushered through ahead of us, as a group, like special clients. I remember thinking they were probably illegals getting CDLs.
These poor immigrants need to have a job. That is going to make them rely more on our tax money. Let them keep the licenses

I worked out at Al’s when they were still at Ford City East. Actually helped them with the move to 79th Street, loaded up what I could in my car and was rewarded with a free month of membership. I remember wondering to myself how much steroids he and Don (and a lot of the clientele) ingested. Those guys were ssooo fake and plastic looking. I can count on one hand the times I saw either of them push a weight. And it was like pulling teeth to get Don to put down his Bible and leave the office to walk to the back bar and make me a protein shake. And don’t even get me started on their daily clown-like Zubus outfits 😂😂. Thanks for the blast from the past.

so George Ryan went to federal prison for apparently running a license for sale scam out of his SoS office. If we actually had honest federal law enforcement, they would find the same here in spades. We don't have honest federal law enforcement regardless of who the President is. All of these DOJ people are bought-off by local money. The city colleges used to offer a CDL program through Olive Harvey JC. It was reasonably priced and well run. Does anyone know if it is still available?
These poor immigrants can't read signage, nor are they versed in the rules of the road. They cause very preventable accidents; a great example of this was the two Punjabi drivers who did an illegal U-turn (signs all over the highway) in Florida and killed an entire family, or more recently, the illegal who tried passing in a no-pass zone on an Indiana 2-lane highway and slammed head-on into a vanload of Amish men. The dashcam video from this driver shows he did NOT bother to brake, and professional (well trained) truck drivers would have passed on the right, rather than on the left. The illegals won't be depending on tax money if they are DEPORTED, will they??? And there are jobs available for those who refuse to learn to speak, read and write in English. Trucking isn't one of them, though.
Chicago is the epicenter of sketchy, foreign-owned trucking firms (mainly Russian - probably mob) and these firms are the ones who grease the wheels when it comes to getting CDLs for incompetent foreign drivers. They then keep them essentially as slaves until they work off their "debt" to the company - for training, the bribes going to state workers for the CDL and equipment costs. In turn, they low-ball their freight hauling bids, so pick up a lot of contracts that would ordinarily go to qualified American truckers and trucking companies. The illegal driver nets about 5 cents a mile from the deal, so still has income at a level that allows him to receive gubmint bennies. A major lose-lose for the American taxpayer.
How is this even possible? I renew my HAZMAT CDL every four years and one of the requirements is submission of fingerprints.
No federal taxes on tips or OT. States can decide individually, to not tax, but JB will continue to tax those wages, probably because it was a Trump policy.

Florida passed a law that states all drivers license tests MUST be conducted in English, including reading road signs in English, as it is the official language of Florida!
No tests in Spanish or any other language and must be passed prior to getting any Florida drivers License!

This is a question about insurance. For insurance to be valid the driver of the vehicle should have a valid license in order for the insurance company to cover an accident. I believe it is actually written in the policy. For years insurance companies take premiums from illegal aliens even when they have no DL. Seems like insurance companies should not be allowed to take premiums for insurance they have no intention of covering in case of an accident. That would be criminal or am I wrong. I remember stopping illegals for traffic and after asking for a DL. The most common thing said was. “No license, I have insurance, Is ok I go home now.”
