Carjacking up north....and then it got interesting:
A 22-year-old man was murdered during a carjacking in Boystown early Wednesday morning, and less than an hour later, a second man was found dead next to the stolen vehicle on the city’s South Side, according to Chicago police and law enforcement sources. Detectives are now investigating whether the second dead man was one of the carjackers.
It all began around 3:59 a.m. in the 700 block of West Waveland Avenue, where two men were sitting inside a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, according to police. Two male carjackers approached the vehicle, displayed guns, and demanded the victims’ vehicle and belongings before opening fire, police said.
They shot one of the victims, a 22-year-old man, and drove away with his car. The other victim, 38, was not injured. Officers applied chest seals and administered CPR to the younger victim, but he was pronounced dead at Illinois Masonic Hospital, police said. A bullet had apparently struck him directly in the heart.
Shortly after 4 a.m., a Chicago Police Department license plate reader detected the hijacked car traveling in the 100 block of West 31st Street, according to police.
Then, at 4:50 a.m., a passerby discovered a man lying unresponsive in the middle of the 3700 block of South Lake Park Avenue in Oakland, police said. The man, who had a gunshot wound to his head, was lying next to the Hyundai that had been hijacked in Boystown, according to a source. The car’s doors were open, and its blinker was on.
It may have been one of the carjackers, perhaps a falling out among thieves?
This is the stuff we miss.

Sounds like a script for a movie. The second homicide is the mystery person as to his death. Was he shot cuz there was a falling out, were the bad guys in the car playing with the gun when it accidentally discharged, or was there a more sinister reason for the death tying it to a carjacking? Forensics and old fashion gumshoe detective work will solve this case; but not before the upper ranks of the department are turned on their heads revealing secrets? However, the mayor and his inner circle will be drawn into a cat and mouse game with a detective set on solving the motive for the homicide, while the mayor and his inner circle throw up roadblocks to maintain their distance and keep the detective and public from learning the truth that will bring down the mayor, his inner circle, and the highest levels of Chicago’s elites.

Car jackers always come home. Just post up on Lake Park, south of 35th by the apartment complex and wait. Little terds also live in the row houses west of Michigan, south of 36th. That's right in PSHQ's backyard. Time for "inside" staff to perform 0600 outdoor roll calls on street corners. Form some PSHQ sworn/civilian mission teams to catch bad guys. Lots of availability.

Remember last August when Mayor Johnson suggested Chicago's crime crisis was a result of a lack of affordable housing on the Morning Joe show?
Like the old story goes...

Imagine if Mayor Johnson and fellow democrats would not let this "isolated incident" go to waste. A coalition of democrats can show up to the crime scene attired in rainbow embroidered Kente stoles and symbolically take a knee for the victim like a George Floyd political rally. And similarly, top CPD brass can take a knee similar to Area Three deputy Chief Gilberto Calderon's George Floyd tribute in front of the 010th District Police Station. Excellent unifying optics for the upcoming election. Selected Democrat candidates can get good press wearing community identifiable stoles and suggesting concern for the victim while rallying those community votes.
All despite their party's soft on crime culture and failure to keep the recidivist criminals in check and behind bars. And don't forget their tough crime talk despite their track record of keeping violence prone evildoers free to roam your community plying their trade increasing the tally of victims.
Or the carjackers shot and killed a second victim and stole his car, leaving the first one behind.
Almost like a self-cleaning oven.

This is once again an isolated incident in a series of isolated incidents according to the mayor's orifice. Nothing to see here. The killing fields of Chicago do not exist only the dead bodies exist, but they're only numbers. The killa's murder and maim with impunity with no fear of courts, prosecutors and accountability. Vote no on retention of judges. No support for the media and their cover ups of city corruption
