There's some good news out there. Last Wednsday, the City of Markham, a Chicago south suburb honored it's Officers and the Investigators of the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force for their quick and efficient investigation and arrest of a double murderer.The murders were solved and and arrest was made within 48 Hrs.
Sadly, It's a rare event to give recognition to honest, hard working police officers in today's criminal first society.
Hopefully when you say you had something come up you're not looking at an angry river. Pour yourself a glass of the stuff that made the mouse tree the cat and enjoy.

What about the full duty do nothing positions there are alot of them and they could work the street and if they had to be replaced and FOP didn’t want civilians then light duty to take their spots

Don’t forget the fireman is having a fund raising event at firewater. Anything can help his widow and family. He was so young, no amount is enough. Please consider donating. If you cannot financial afford to donate, consider volunteering, even for a day. It’s good to give back and help when needed. We have to come together at times like this. Way too young and tragic. If you can please attend the hearings for the murder trial. Support and presence always helps.

U need to be involuntarily admitted if you are doing any chasing now a days. That goes for any supervisor allowing a chase to continue also.
When I was in 015 we were asked to stop at a sporting goods store and pick up some footballs basketballs etc. then we had to find local yutes playing in whichever empty lot somewhere in district and get out and hand it to them even toss the ball around a little. Hahahaha. We were told turn in the receipts and we will get a tax write off. Never underestimate the cpd think tank.
What a tremendous idea. Crime halted immediately for years.
