  • Located just 15 minutes from Downtown Chicago, the property offers convenient access to I-55, I-90/94, and I-294, as well as the Pulaski Orange Line and Midway International Airport, this exceptional property offers the rare combination of size, privacy, luxury amenities, and convenient city access. Schedule your private tour today!

We were thinking of scheduling our own private tour, just so we could take a giant dump one of the bathrooms.

Oh, the seller?

  • Convicted Aldercreature Ed Burke

We don't know if he's hurting for money or is moving out of town.

There aren't too many comparables for the neighborhood because the building is so out of place for West Elsdon. The eight-foot brick fence around the yard is a plus if you don't like talking to the neighbors.

For a new building from 2005 it has the look of an apartment/condo building converted into a single residence. And of course the tracks are the backyard. I’m sure he bought that shit triangle piece of land for next to nothing. Nice to see Chicago/state politicians serve time in the slammer, even if it’s only the country club.

Politicians at every level in this country are ripping off tax payers for their own greed. They don't care about the cities or states they serve. They only care about the power and wealth they can create for themselves. The majority of them need to be hung in a public square for the treson they have committed against their own constituents. Our Founding Fathers are weeping in their graves.

Hmm asking price seems a bit low. Must be set for a quick sale. Maybe conehead will put n illegal family in it? It's good to be a king of corruption, until one is caught.

Wonder if he's fleeing to fla? Has his wife retired from the bench? Does he have to pay restitution? What, he can't pay the gardener anymore? Living in a house with an elevator and high security, one doesn't have to move as one ages. Are they getting a divorce? At 80 yo? Bet there's a great story behind this one.

No thanks to the tour. He'd probably a) charge and b) call later for a political fix er donation. Though I would be fun to see his library and most likely great art work.

The house will sell and buyer will turn it into an illegal alien residence just like thousands of homes in Cook County. Government will pay the owner the Section 8 rent at market rates. That is why the wealthy want illegal aliens and why housing prices continue up. Houses are snapped up and rented to the government which gives you guaranteed rental income unlike renting to an American who doesn’t have a section 8 voucher.

Many years ago there was a detail at Sis Daleys house in Bridgeport. The regular guy took the night off and someone was pulled out of roll call and sent instead. That night some drunk went and let loose with a couple of shots at the house. The assigned PO wrestled the guy into handcuffs, ending the threat. The temporarily assigned PO was like a made man blessed by the Godfather himself. Fast tracked to every promotion test he ever took. Ended up as a captain in something like ten years and he knew he was untouchable as long as The Irish Mob still ran city hall. The PO that took the night off never forgave him for taking his spot at the Daley house that night...

I see this a lot. 015 Bel-Cragin there are a couple of these rezoned former-industrial "triangles" right next to the former Milwaukee Road tracks with big, really expensive "senior housing" on them now. $3000/mo + and a three-block walk to the bus. Absolutely have to have a car to survive there.

Like you say, bought real cheap, even considering the envelope containing the "rezoning fee."
