Anyone know why this is walking around free?
A Chicago man with more than 60 arrests and a history of violence against transit workers is facing new charges after prosecutors said he stabbed a good Samaritan who came to a CTA employee’s defense at a Blue Line station.
Eduardo De Jesus, 48, was arrested April 23 at the Addison Red Line station after officers posted there recognized him by his neck tattoos and took him into custody.
According to prosecutors, the incident unfolded on March 31 at the Western Blue Line station in Bucktown. De Jesus got into an argument with a CTA employee and a 30-year-old man who did not know De Jesus stepped in to help the worker, prosecutors said.
De Jesus allegedly struck the victim in the face, and as the confrontation spilled outside the station, he pulled out a weapon. When the victim raised his hand to protect himself, prosecutors say, De Jesus stabbed him in the palm. The victim was taken to a hospital and received stitches for the puncture wound.
Sixty arrests and free as a bird.
Along with Hammer Guy, someone who really really needs to run into a Concealed Carrier who didn't see the CTA signs....completely by accident of course.

Remember CTA is an entirely different video system from everything else. Sdsc / Atc can only see live and for past video (like 3 minutes ago) there are only 10 logins across the entire city..and its a remote desktop aka delays and bullshit. Then u have to axe pretty please cta for the footage. How many dix say fuck it and suspended cases because they don't have the access or patience.

If I was a criminal, I would head to Chicago to ply my trade. The chances of true consequences for my life choices would be slim. A person that is only 48 but has been arrested 60 times, many for violence should be in prison until they need a walker to ambulate, if not for life. If you guys want, you can send him down my way and I can promise someone will cancel his subscription if he doesn't go to prison for life.
We need legislation requiring politicians to ride mass transit to work once a week, without their bodyguards . At least until the UNSafety Act is repealed.
You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a mental, or a violent crime offender on the CTA anymore. The worst of societal dregs are ever present, and it is worse at night. The current Mass Transit unit should be disbanded back to the patrol unit and then another unit interested in fighting crime should be formed from the ashes. The K-9 handlers are a bigger waste of time and tax dollars with their 6 hour days. They brag about their work schedule if you are ever unfortunate enough to talk to one.
All these Democrat judges and politicians are destroying the Sanctuary Cities. They are acting in unison. The following scumbag is just like our scumbags. In New York City he pushed a retired NYC teacher down the subway stairs killing him. Numerous encounters with the police, whereupon he batters them. In and out of the courts and brought to the psych hospital by police whereupon they release him after an hour on a "supervised release". Sounds just like Chicago!
