You still don't hate the media enough - this is an actual article from three days ago:
Didn't the media just spend the last three months telling everyone high gas prices were sending the country into another recession? That inflation was out of control? That these prices were the "new normal" and we all better get used to it?
Now that things are calming down, the low prices are....a bad thing?
We're so confused.

The local media is so biased, that I don’t trust them. I haven’t watched the local news in a long while.
Media in spin mode
The restaurants are packed for dinner. People shopping at Costco have shopping carts filled. Semi Trucks carrying goods are everywhere on the highway. Airlines are doing pre pandemic business. The media will never be a cheerleader for our President.
The writers of the article spoke to several economists who are of the opinion that falling gas prices will increase inflation. Among other things, there will be less investment in fracking as the price of oil drops and that will have a negative effect on the economy. The article also mentions the President’s insistence that the gas station owners stop gouging the American public.
If you know anyone in Kalifornia send that to them. The highest gas tax in the nation just went higher on July 01. If you cross the state line in Kalifornia you can fill up for $2.00 less per gallon. How much will those silly Kalifornians sign up for before they go to the governors mansion with pitchforks and torches?

All media persons should watch the episode of Lou Grant entitled "Conflict". It details the importance of unbiased reporting by a major newspaper. Reporters must not have associations with organizations they do a story on because it can lead to the appearance of impropriety and bias, therefore undermining their credibility.

Gas prices in Chicago wil never get back to normal...Jabba the Huts gas taxes and the stations price gouging will forever hit residents. Go to Indiana, Wisconsin or even out of Cook County for more reasonable prices.
