Pipes and Drums Fundraiser

Once again, for an organization that supports us through thick and thin:

  • The Bagpipes and Drums of the Emerald Society, CPD will be holding its second ever fundraiser on Feburary 18th 2017 3pm-8pm.

This is a kid friendly event. $25 includes food, beer, pop, wine. 12 and under are free. There will be raffles, a silent auction, and sports memorabilia auction.

St. Stephen's Green will be playing modern Irish rock and traditional Irish folk.

Next, Stereo Types will be playing 80's, 90's and other favorites from today. With a special appearance from some of our band members!

Both bands are donating their time to us. And of course the Bagpipes and Drums will be playing a few tunes!

We will also have separate raffle tickets for sale. $5 each with a $500 grand prize.

There will be a liquor cooler raffle. Only 100 tickets be sold at $10 each for a giant cooler full of liquors.

We already have some awesome raffle items donated!

We are 501c3 charitable origination. Have something to donate? Please let us know! We can provide you with a receipt!
Save the date and we'll see you there.

My CPD cousins, as a correctional officer I apologize for posting in this section but am compelled to ask for your prayers for the family of my Masonic Brother and fellow Noble Steven Floyd. While enduring a Delaware prison riot this week he was overpowered by inmates and lost his life but not before alerting oncoming backup that they were about to enter into a trap. Sergeant Floyd was posthumously promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Please pray for his family during these trying times. He served 16 years as a Correctional Officer and was taken away from us too soon at 47 years. He was a God fearing family man, husband, father of two adult children, grandparent, and he loved his job! God Bless you my fellow Noble C.O! No more lockdown time! God Bless you CPD and may God continue to protect you and your families. Your cousin in Corrections, honorably discharged veteran (USAF).

5 FEB @12:57 - Fellow CO, please realize that using the Shriner title "noble" can be misconstrued to be the nefarious organization known for cheating on the Lie-tenants exam. The charitable acts of the Shrine should not be confused with the criminal deeds of a race-restricted police organization. Prayers for the fallen DE CO.
