The List

We've asked Foxxx's office for a list of laws that the "community" isn't required to follow, so as to make her job a bit easier and warn coppers where their efforts might be re-directed. We didn't really expect an answer, but one appeared to us in the comment section:
  • SCC, you asked several times for a list of laws "the community" doesn't have to follow. Looks like Kimmy heard your request and is delivering!
And we realized the writer is correct. We just needed to pay better attention.

So, here's what we can recall from memory - feel free to add more in the comment sections:
  • Weed is pretty much legal across the board now;
  • Driving While Suspended/Revoked is a free pass;
  • Shoplifting needs to be over $1,000 (with pending legislation for a $2,000 floor);
  • Felony Theft needs 10 previous felony convictions;
  • Straight up denials by thugs means no constructive possession of guns or dope;
  • UPDATE: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender - not charged any more;
  • UPDATE: No PSMV without a statement of knowledge the car was stolen;
More? (Yes, we've seen the joke posts about 10 previous rapes, robberies, murders, etc.)

Just so we're clear and everyone understands this. With constructive possession the offender still has to have knowledge of a weapon if you're referencing the denial the denial of charges for that UuW arrest in the car that was the right call. It's in a glovebox and he denied knowledge. Plus it's in a glovebox. A compartment. Lockable. Not much to go on there guys. Don't get me wrong they deny plenty of charges for what seems to be slam dunk case but someone needs to brush up on some case law. In this instant that was the right call. Just saying.

No domestic battery charges if the victim says she will love the offender the next day.

No PCS charges if the offender promises to never due drugs again

No DUI charge if offender promises to go to rehab

No UUW charge if dude says " what gun"

Will be charged with Agg Batt instead of murder if offender says he didn't mean it

How about taking a page from the French and Formerly-Great Britain? The Democrats love the hell out of the Europeans, so they might go for it. Just declare Englewood, Austin, and a few more neighborhoods "Special Administrative Zones," also known as NO GO Zones.

Really think about it! You can reassign all the freed up police and fire to other neighborhoods. Summer Mobile could actually visit the beach! Rahm could use it to improve the crime statistics too. If no one in those neighborhoods report a crime, did the crime even happen? Dead body? Must be natural causes if there is no coroner report! Best of all, Foxxx and Dart should be really, really happy, because no meanie Chicago Police are locking up innocent black and brown people for violating those archaic laws that are nothing but white hetero patriarchal oppression.

Chicago needs to be more like Europe!
Chicago needs Special Administrative Zones!

You are a person of non color and charged with a statutory felony upgrade in a county other than Cook. Can you raise the defense of reverse-racism citing the common legal practices that if you were a person of color committing the same offense in Cook County, felony charges would not be sought?

One could argue the case you caught should be a misdemeanor or petty offense based on similar criminal cases tried in Cook County. Could one accuse all other Illinois counties of cruel and unusual punishment or malicious prosecution based on case law out of Cook County?

So, Ms. Foxx. Let me get this straight. I drive a stolen car to Target, while my license is suspended, steal $999.99 worth of merchandise, and rape some hottie on the way home. I get caught by some idiot police officer who actually tries to do some police work with you as the states attorney. I deny any knowledge of the car being stolen and deny the semen in my victim, sorry "the" victim, is mine and I'm good to go?

Maybe you and Governor Rauner could take this a step further. Why not send brochures to inmates from other states, who are about to be be paroled, inviting them to Cook County?

One last question. How the fuck did you get elected? Those damn Russians!

Prop 47 in California that reduced penalties for "nonviolent offenses"

"Proposition 47, it's cool," Sina said. "Like for me, I can go do a [commercial] burglary and know that if it's not over $900, they'll just give me a ticket and let me go."

Of the Proposition 47 cases handled by the city attorney's office, only 73 of nearly 2,200 drug offenders sentenced in the first eight months of the year entered some sort of court-ordered treatment, according to City Atty. Mike Feuer.

"If the purpose of [Proposition] 47 was largely to rehabilitate drug offenders, that's not what's happening," Feuer said.

SCC, you missed the stipulation. It's 1,000 or 10 prior Felony convictions proposed by Tom Dart and Foxx. To have 10 prior felony convictions it would be at least 100 past arrests for retail theft over $300.00.. So what Dart and Foxx is basically doing is legalizing theft. You can steal everyday an go to County and tell Dart's fake shrinks your mentally ill.

Well look at here. Baltimore's police chief just said the reason for all the shootings there is because some people in the community carry guns with impunity. They don't fear arrest. They don't fear a successful prosecution and certainly don't fear a guilty verdict because the guilty verdicts are suspended all or most of the time.

A buddy of mine that works EM for the Cook County Sheriff says someone needs to seriously do a FOIA request on the Electronic Monitoring program. The Sheriff has thousands of violent criminals on the program and many are missing. He has three different cases where they released guys who have previous murder convictions because the Sheriff classifies the new charges as low level. One guy had 32 prior arrests, two murder convictions, and was out again on EM on pending robbery charge. Could not believe it until he showed me the paperwork.

Hence $1,000.00 toothpicks.
