we need to do an overall comparison to the total population of the city of Shicago from year to year. It will show bullshit is on the rise. I would say the population is lower, and shootings are up.

It may not be much, but even a small dip in violent crime is a win win. Mayor Rahm's and Big Ed's methods are bearing fruit.

Some stud was found floating in the Garfield Park lagoon, 010 had a triple shooting with one DOA and one intubated with two slugs to the coconut and there were shootings in at least five other districts just on 3/W today.

Next weekend will make up for it.

The violence is going to continue for a while. Leadership is clueless on how to handle the problems. Vote or get out. Change in leadership is need for any real improvement.
13 shot, 5 fatally, in Monday violence across Chicago... those are good numbers for a whole weekend.
And if I am not mistaken there are at least 2 death investigations pending: 1. a guy found in the Garfield Park lagoon; 2. a guy found shot in the head in an alley that was a murder, then suddenly became a death investigation on the southside.

As my able-bodied, hard-working, law abiding son waits for a kidney donation for transplant some 700 were killed last year. That's 1400 kidneys, 1400 corneas, 700 hearts, 700 livers, that could have been made available for transplant. Now I will grant you that a certain percentage of those organs were riddled with bullets but still.......... Is there ANY way we can get these low-life, gang banging, no-respect-for-human-life "folks" to see that even though their LIVES were meaningless, their DEATHS could have some meaning? Compel the tattoo parlors to issue donor cards when the first...of many...tears is tattooed on the face? Those might as well be targets on the back so let's be real...like the motorcycle driver without a helmet: YOU ARE AN ORGAN DONOR! PLEASE.
