Alder-Moron Vasquez

So the 40th Ward aldermoron Andre Vasquez posted a video on his social media. We don't have the link but someone sent us a still shot from it:

He gives a little speech to the effect of, "Can you believe cops are writing these tickets? Why aren't they fighting real crime? Why are they getting paid overtime to hassle the neighborhood residents?"

Um....

• the City Council authorized CPD to write tickets for violations of Ordinances. If you don't want them writing parking tickets, there's a simple solution for someone in the legislative body;
• "real crime" is down, right? And cops gotta fill their day somehow without racial profiling, stop-and-frisks, or traffic stops of any sort whatsoever since the "progs" are outlawing it; 
• no one gets overtime for writing parkers....never have, never will;
• the neighborhood residents call on their aldercreatures to restrict residential parking in the hood, they get signs put up, and then they call 9-1-1 to report violators all the time. You want to take it up with your voters?
• and of course, those aren't CPD issued tickets. Those are Department of Revenue tickets....you know, making up the shortfall in the budget that you approved.

Don't expect an apology from this idiot though.
