Last night we lost an officer to an on-duty accident.
Nowhere in todays Tibune or Sun-Times does it mention our fallen comrade. But it does tell you that there was an accidnet on LSD and two people were injured.
Nowhere on ABC, NBC or CBS is there even a mention of our fallen comrade. But there is a story of which fudge Oprah likes.
This is disgraceful and shame on the media for this!!

The Sgt you are asking about was a J.O. when he was in 012, and yes he did get his ass kicked by a CHA Police Tac officer on a traffic stop when SGT"Z" threw the first punch! After going into the 12th DIST to straighten things out. Sgt."Z" was ordered by the street deputy to drop the issue it was over. But wait no it wasn't, Sgt"Z" waited for the 2nd watch and filed a battery to P.O. case report naming the CHA officers as the offenders. So be very careful around Sgt"Z" boys and girls in the wild west side! Sorry this is so long but everyone needs to know the truth about that night Be safe out there everyone!

Thats because they are taking today as a holiday.

Sorry, but the Big Guy did indeed send out a notification via BB email that PO Solario died yesterday...he asked that the officer and his family be kept in our prayers.
Eric Solorio funeral arrangements are as follows: Blake Lamb funeral home @5800 W. 63st. The family requested a two day wake, Tuesday 14th, and Wednesday 15th from 1500 - 2100, St. Jude on Wednesday @1900 hrs. Church on Thursday 16th @ 1000 am @ Holy Cross 45th & Wood Scc please inform members that the reason there was no mention of Eric's death in either paper nor elsewhere is the arrangements were finalized this afternoon. An honors funeral was finalized by the family at the same time as well. Remember it is a family decision whether or not to have an honors funeral.
