OK, we'd like to be among the first to demand the resignations of the warden of the jail, the Sheriff and the president of the Cook County Board.
- The warden because of obvious incompetence - how do you let a gun inside, an escape in a laundry truck, and then when everything ought to be locked down tighter than a drum, 6 MORE ESCAPES IN A SINGLE NIGHT?
- The Sheriff, not only because the buck stops there, but he's in charge of hiring, staffing and training, and it seems to have failed miserably.
- And Stroger, just because we dislike him so intently. If Claypool and his people have a brain in their heads, they are going to hammer Stroger with this. And rightfully so.

clearly what we have at that party house on 26th street is a system that is corrupt from head to toe. gangs have infiltrated every aspect of that jail, and apparently supervisors and their own Internal Affairs (what a joke) are in on it. how else could you explain what's going on there? i've seen so many varying degrees of graft and corruption go in in that place yet mysteriously no one ever goes to jail.
the time is now for the FED to step up and take control of that entire operation. sheahan clearly got out while the gettin is good. but just like our job the FED can go after you even after you retire (or in his case "choose not to run"). this baffles me when two days ago the prisoner is known to be missing at 1130 hrs. yet the jail staff doesn't notify CPD until 1430 Hrs. ( being assigned to the 010th District) i happen to know that this is a regular procedure for them to pull that "bullshit". it's been going on for years.
you've got not only guards smuggling in contraband and letting prisoners escape but some of these jokers are actually pulling burglaries, robberies and even homicides yet they still go unchecked. what "the hell" is going on is right! what the hell is "really" goin on?
ask me and i'll tell of one murder i know that they're behind... and stop apologizing for these shitbag, dope dealin, gang bangin, wanna be the police type, cock suckin weasels.
Just in, the 2 escapees that have been captured in Oak Park had 2 other inmates with them that ran and got away. Oak Park is obviously afraid that these animals mat have kicked in a door and could be holding a family hostage. Oh and by the way as of this minute the helicopter is still not in the air, a quote from them is that they may be in the area by 1000 hours. I guess crime doesn't occur at night or on the weekends sort of like narcotics they don't work nights or weekends so I guess no dope gets sold at those times. Fucking amazing. The kicker is that these guys got on the green line and rode away and 2 of them had on DOC khakis. It also took the city 45 minutes to shut the trains down. Man I hope we never have a terrorist plot go down here because the city sure has the public bullshitted by telling them they're safe. I hope some reporter reads this blog we need a little shake up. Sorry it's off topic just figured people want to know. just another reason that people need guns in there homes.
Remember what Ron Huberman said on WTTW-TV's Chicago Tonight program, about not training first responders (that's us) about the emergency plans.

I was in 010 as a recruit. I remember 2 guys scaled the wall on 26th St. and melted into the neighborhood. As we were cruising we started to see roving groups of jail guards in their personal cars and trucks. I even saw 3 guards in the back of one of the pickups brandishing shotguns. I thought what the fuck turns out the 2 had been on the loose for an hour and me and my partner were the first on the police radio with. What a cluster fuck. The one dude didn't get captured for 2 years.
Yeah SCC... no hang over and may I burn in hell, no church services, so I am not first or even second today. I just simply wanted to sleep in.
I just this news last night before I popped a movie in. What the hell is going on over there?

One of the new escapees who got recaptured was they white guy who escaped earlier this week! I got that from a CC Sgt. He also told me the following:
This division is in the basement. 2 Guards are supposed to be up a a tier, walking. If they position themselves in a corner, they can sit an see everything that's going on.
Another guard sits inside a locked cage on the floor and he also can see everything. He's not supposed to go inside the area. The inmates get buckets to wash with, so even if he was to throw the hot water on the guard, all he has to do is move out of the way. Obviously the guard was inside this locked area.
Next, there are 2 locked doors, that need separate keys to open. Once you get past those, you have to go down a long hall and then pass through another locked door to get outside.
Sounds like another inside job.

Sorry, I must've missed the part where locking up the bad guys, even when they have a star, is a bad thing. You want to commit Felonies? Then take your weight cup cake. Very few people get dinged real hard on Rule Violations...unless it's Rule #1, which is Violating any Laws.
I always laugh when I hear IAD get called rats...you guys realize that the "rats" are the guys sitting next to you in roll call who drop a dime in the first place? Right?

Officer Eric Solorio and his partner were injured when their squad car hit a tree and hit a Southside church while attempting to curb a vehicle. While the officers were pursuing the motorist for a traffic violation and were cut off by another car, causing the squad car to swerve and hit the tree and buidling.
Officer Eric Solorio died as a result of his injuries on 12 February 2006. Please keep his family, friends and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers.

I'd defend him. I worked for him in Housing and in my 15 years on, I found him to be one the best bosses I've ever worked for. Trust me when I tell you that many of the Housing people ( Supervisors included ) gave him reason to "fuck" them, but he never did and always handled things in house, and appropriately. At least from my experience.
I don't know what YOU did to earn his ire, but I'm betting you deserved what ever you got.
I forgot to add that while I've heard many amusing stories and rumors about Downtown Ernie Brown, I found him to be a pretty decent guy too, and never saw any proof of his alleged wrong doings. He was no Tolliver, but a decent boss none the less.

You sir are an ass. Having dealt with Charlie Williams when he was a sgt in IAD and worked for him when he was A/4 Dep Chief. I can speak from experience.
If you are not a Thief, or a dope dealer/protector PO- you would have nothing to worry about. So obviously you are either hearing stories from those Thieving, Dope Dealing as of yet caught pieces of Human excriment masquerading as Policemen. My advice to you is grow as set of cojons and dont believe everything you hear. Unless you know the man, have dealt with him you dont know shit about him.

I love the ignorance displayed in this post. It truly is priceless...as if the Commander of ANY unit could make a CR into something that it is not. The evidence is either there or it is not. If you fucked up, be a man and take your spanking!
If the evidence is not there, and you are WRONGLY accused of something, I find it hard to believe that Charlie WILLIAMS, or any other boss for that matter, is going to tell a sergeant investigating the CR to make shit up just to hurt you. Sorry to inform you, but you aren't that important.
It's insane how many officers think that locking up a one rock pinch is doing more GOOD than locking up a copper who is making us all look like shit. Instead, we turn our backs, look the other way and think we are the REAL police! WAKE UP! You forgot to mention the WITNESS P.O. who gave a statement AGAINST the two "innocent" P.O.'s!!!! Also that the Sergeant was dumped because the two "innocent" female P.O.'s then beefed that the Sergeant sexually harassed them after he told WILLIAMS about the false reports. That Sergeant landed on his feet and is quite happy...wonder how I might know that...

I got a beef about 4-yrs ago and had to go see Lt.williams at IAD.i never meet the man and knew nothing about him.he sat me down and told me it was a bad beef..he then told me that he read all reports and that i was going to be alright..i was just going to have to let it run its course and the out come should favor me...that was only 3-days after the beef and yes i was concerned about the beef..but i trusted this man and yes..the beef is over and im still on the job and me made me feel better while i waited the out come of the C.R.#..so if i didnt say it then..thanks BOSS...
