If you are ever in an elevator, whether it is 51st & Federal or Sears Tower, and it is stuck between floors with the doors open, STAY INSIDE!
If the elevator were to start to move while you are getting out...well you get the picture.
It is almost impossible for an elevator to freefall, (when is the last time you heard of that happening), but if the controls are damaged or over-ridden it can move with the doors open.

Do you remember when the IAD wanted to a computer system named the, "Brain" a number of years ago to track officers behavior. Harold Kunz stood up to the IAD then. It sounds like the same kind of system to me. If it wasn't good then - why is it good now.

Man, you are GUZZLING the kool-aid. (1) - Cheney was authorized prior to 2003 to declassify previously classified material. There is an Executive Order to that effect. (2) Wilson undermined his own credibility by LYING to the New York Slimes and everyone else. HIS REPORT SUPPORTED THE ADMINISTRATION CONTENTIONN THAT IRAQ WAS SEEKING URANIUM! Everything he's said since then is a lie. Check the Congressional record. He tells the truth to Congress, then lies to the media and you swallow it whole. (3) As the translation of more and more documents goes forward, the case for war is proven again and again and everything you've been smoking for 3 years is turning out to be bullshit. And all you can scream is "Bush lied. Blood for Oil! Halliburton!"
