Regnef / Fenger Blog Fallout

The teacher still hasn't returned, the blog is still gone and now the re-creation has disappeared, too. Hopefully, someone saved the postings (hee hee) as they were just too thought provoking to lose forever. Channel 7 has picked up coverage and has these priceless quotes:
  • Those at Fenger High School are hurt and shocked by a blog that goes after teachers, parents and students, and shocked that someone apparently from within would make his criticism so public.
Well, we all know exactly how responsive the school system (and the City in general) is to private criticism. Change happens immediately when issued behind closed doors away from the public, doesn't it?
  • People thought they were accused of saying there's a lot of people who, you know, will admit that some of the things in the blog are true, just wish they had gone about it a different way. But, in general, it has everybody talking and that is nothing but a good thing," said Matt Geesaman, Fenger High School teacher.
Wow. Is that statement English? Could you follow it? We speak both English and bad English and WE had trouble following that one - though one could blame the media for making a hash of it.

Blunt talk about "the elephant in the living room" shines a spotlight on problems that too many people and politicians just want to kick down the road. We're still waiting for a real journalist to do a little expose on the schools throwing away brand new unopened textbooks, hundreds of computers sitting unused in storage and tons (literally) of material going to waste every single year. We might actually get behind an effort like that. Here's to hoping a few more enterprising souls in the CPS start some blogs, this time about government waste.

The reporter, as usual, never got the other sides story, nor did she ask the Principal or student's if the teacher's observasions and experiances were true. Secondly, if that teacher is black, which by the suggestion that he is, FUCKING god bless him for speaking the truth; He just added a block to the bridge of trust between us!

I read the blog. Too bad it's not up. Like 12:55 stated, if it's not true, then where's the denial from C.P.S.? The author of the blog actually complements the C.P.D. The author seemed to be posting if an effort to put the situation out there, to let people kow the situation at Fenger. If the blog was ficticious ( which I doubt), where's the rebuttal ? The blog should be put back up. People reading this blog should take the time to read that one. Lots of interesting stuff. See where our tax dollars are flushed down the shitter on lil Duke.

No surprise, think they left out gambling, dice throwin in the halls small potatoes. There are others like Regnef. Wonder how many complaints were sent to the Board of Ed?

B.Ed. might be using the same file system as the NJ lab, who misplaced the anthrax and mice. Ahhh it will show up sooner or later.

I work p/t in an ELEMENTARY school in 10. I wish that liberal c*** Mary Mitchell could come here just to see these savages "juking" in the halls, claiming "I run dis", yet none of these monkeys know how to read "with....o...ut sssss... sssoundeding like dis"

Fenger? I have already been there and done that! I'm heading over to the Skyway to negotiate a deal on the naming of it to "The Hershey" Highway. Alderman Tunney likes the idea.

Meeks and Daley have hired Jesse Jackson and the Duff family as consultants on the schools issue. They have determined that 50% of the problem with Fenger can be blamed on Arne Duncan/ CPS and 50% is the fault of "the white man" at large. These two groups are using racist mind melding tactics (developed by GW Bush and Haliburton) to steal the children's homework and alter their behavior into a savage orgy.

The blog on Fenger only scratches the surface. I work in 022 and it has to be one of the worst schools in the system. The arrests that are made out there weekly is mind boggling and no one downtown seems to give a sh@t. They should just blow up the whole thing.

Congrats to the two 022 CPD officers the blogger singled out as the hardest working people in the building. If Fenger blew up tomorrow, the crime rate on the south side would plummet 50 percent. Hey! I could get a crime reduction award.....
