Railroad Killer Executed

and other Quick Hits:
  • Channel 2, Channel 5 and Channel 7 cover the execution of one of the more prolific serial killers in history. At least his death gurney statement was "I deserve what I am getting."
  • Only saw this story at the Sun Times of all places. Seems 19 people got arrested at a free DJ led concert at Daley Plaza Sunday night. Nothing happens at Daley Plaza without City approval and it usually has "Presented by Richard M. Daley" somewhere on the literature. So the mayor must be presenting mini-riots downtown now so the media doesn't have to venture into Garfield Park on the weekends. Why no coverage?
  • Continuing a long democratic tradition of throwing money at problems, Danny Davis wants more money to treat heroin addiction. We've already expressed our views on this. We'd rather see the money earmarked for D-3 out of grade expenditures.

mxlb: So your whole argument rests on the the "fact" that state supported murder as the ultimate punishment is unjust because it unfairly targets people of "color"...
Capital punishment, as reinstated by the U.S. supreme court, has become more restricted in it's application. Basically, serial murders, mass murders, murder that occurs in the commission of a forcible felony, treason and terrorism.

Let us look at some of the crimes that you can be eligible for "state mandated murder" in say, the continent of Africa: Murder, treason, terroism, sounds like here pretty much, but lets get into a few other crimes that are punishable by death: sodomy, countfeiting, trafficking in "labor exploitation", mutiny, drug trafficking, prostitution and my three personal favorites: apostasy, witchcraft and charlatanism.... and you think people of "color" have it bad, where????

Last year a chump in China was executed for forging some documents so stop crying. The USA is way too easy with murderers. They live at least an additional 15 years before all their appeals and ACLU liberals who boo hoo for them run out. In that 15 years is TV, exercise, 3 squares a day, library access, etc. that is given to them. Oh yea, all at taxpayers cost. What about the victims? Oh gee, they're fu#@## because they are 6 feet under. An eye for an eye. You like to kill people then AMF.

"He admitted his guilt, however his execution solves nothing."

What it solves is the fact that good people don't have to pay for asshats 3 squares and cable television anymore. Fu$k em let him rot.
