Blackhawks Win?

OK, so the defense left a lot to be desired in an 8-6 opening night win over Nashville, but the penalty killing was solid, giving up only 1 power play goal in 9 chances. Once again, the Blackhawks look to be on pace as one of the most penalized teams in history. How much of this still stems from the referee union's hatred of Bill Wirtz or the fact that mediocre teams tend to pull a lot of boneheaded moves that result in penalty situations remains to be seen.

In any case, it's nice to see the Blackhawks at the top of the standings, even if it's only one game and it's only because they're listed in alphabetical order. Go Hawks!

Khabibulin was the best goalie in the NHL until he got to Chicago.

I wonder what happened?

I am outraged that the Chicago franchise in the National Hockey League continues to use the word "BLACKHAWKS".

I find this nickname, mascot and logo highly offensive to both Native Americans and African Americans!

NO JUSTICE! NO PEACE!
