Merry Xmas! In the previous post "Sporadic Christmas Posting" their is a comment from Santa Claus on the Area 2 gun team. That is some hilarious shit. Had me and others laughing tonight. Some comments are so-so but in that post the shit about Area 2 gun team is just above and beyond funny. That Area 2 gun team really takes some shit from the stuff posted on SCC. Why? Who really knows. And remember that Seiser person? What the hell was that about? Sometimes it is as if someone was writing shit out of Mad magazine. It's finally Xmas, so lets just say Merry Xmas to each other and none of this Happy Holiday shit either.

Why not worry about where clout comes from? Well, if you just made Lt. and don't belong on a unit that you know nothing about, Marine Unit, why should you be there? Aren't there other people who are now bosses who know something about diving and how the Marine Unit works that should go back to the Marine Unit? They're not back there because they don't have the clout and now a Lt. who knows nothing about the Marine Unit is running it. Does that make sense?

It makes the day go by faster and you don't have to listen to the other dog ass coppers bitching about working on the holiday. You must be one of the new breeds.
Hey guys, take this to the bank: Per the Commander of Personnel, the Sgt.'s test results are not due until the second week of January. This was the target date all along and they are on schedule. Relax. The results will be out, ON TIME, which has always been the middle of January.

Just wanted to say, I wish everyone a very best holiday season and for 2007 to be the best and greatest year you ever had!
Sometimes in the rush of the hoilday season, the side jobs and the family, we forget how lucky many of us are.
I am so thankful to work for one of the department's greatest commanders! Mind you, I put my years in at the fast districts and played the numbers game but now I am lucky enough to have a great spot, a nice district and most of all, a D/C who respects his personnel.
In closing, please be safe no matter where you work, treat one another with respect and smiling and saying hello can make somebody's day so much better.
Rumor:
Has anyone heard of an incident involving off duty SOS or TRU officers in a bar; supposedly they got in a fight with some guy, beat him, handcuffed him.. and then of course let him go.

It was the A/4 gun team, they got loaded at a bar in 12 and got into an altercation with another bar patron. They stomped him , then let him go. The A/4 gun team failed to realize that they were filmed on security camera, as clear as day. The tape was viewed by the head of OPS first then she walked it across the hall for Phil to see for himself. The team is dibanded and the SGT who lives in 016 is now a SGT on midnights in 005.

Lt. Ceja is a great boss and is old school when it comes to police work. He backs up his guys 100% and lets the dogs know to pick up the pace or go work some where else.
