It's going to be cold these next few days. DAMN cold. Sunday a high of 6? And a low of -4? Brrrrrrrr.

It sucks going for a run in this weather. By the time I come back home, my face is beet red and hands frozen (w/heavy gloves). When is Spring coming to this glacier town?

Hey, ths is just CHICAGO in winter. Did you forget that many of us survived the winter when it got to -26 degrees. Those squads never got warm that winter even when they running 24 hrs. a day. Have we all turned into wimps?

It was warm here about a week ago, as I recall. It's winter in Chicago. Deal with it.
Now's the time for all of us in the police family to step up and check the "Add A Dollar" box on our gas bills to help those on the Westside to maintain their thermostats at "Africa".
