I work at 35th and yes you are now banned. Your services are no longer needed according to the big wigs.
That is what you get for allowimg officers an outlet to voice their opinions, identify fucked up bosses, site specific incidents and actually get the big wigs wondering. Not only that, the media reads this site and actually finds good information to actually follow leads that may make a difference in this world of police. Lastly, the media gets information that Ms. Bond has not spoon fed them at the direction of the big guy.
Though I am a boss that is at the level of the smallest fish in the pond, I do appreciate your efforts. I did not like the extensive negative bashing, but it was amusing. To poster, MB is the real police. He is no sell out. Thing is if IAD wants you as sgt they get you, period. Believe me, he didn't use his clout to get to IAD, or out of patrol, good street cop he is and would back you in a second.

Have not been able to get on to SCC, SCD or our site from a department computer since friday. We have also experienced a drop in visitor hits from 450 daily to 250.

The other day, Having stopped into the station midway through my tour of duty, I was approached by an officer who I don't even know, and who is new to the District but not a PPO.
I happened to be using one of the computers to see if my Special Enjoyment was approved, when this new guy asked me if I ever use the computers to get to SCC website.
I was surprised he asked me.
My response to him was, I don't know if it's possible to get it on CPD Computers, and would never want to find out, as the ISP can be traced back to the station and like most coppers do, ruin a good thing for others.
Needless to say, I hurried up researching my Special Enjoyment and left the room.
Was I over reacting?
Gotta tell ya, this guy really creeped me out.
The smack talk about Sgt. MB is just one more good reason this site has been banned. People get on here and say whatever bs the want without know all the details or just out and out lies.
Mike is a good guy and was a great detective. Anyone that says anything less doesn't know him. He made detective off the list and sgt off the list; nothing merit about his promotions.
As far as IAD, i'd rather have a guy like him there, that has some common sense than some jag-off just out to get coppers. I'm sure there are stories of IAD fucking guys, but most guys get fucked by the G, not IAD.
If nobody decent goes there, then it will fill up with assholes. Most of the negative comments that will follow this posting will be out of jealousy and nothing more, so bring you cry babies.
Can't get you at the Academy. maybe revealing hillard's kid failed his power test, and went IOD (over the weekend, strange the recruits only work mon-fri) to avoid retaking and failing it, the following week, helped in getting you banned.
Next time he's rescheduled (mid-march) IAD can come down and oversee the administration of little Danna's power test.

It does seem that the Dept. has banned this web site. Did anyone notice that there is a new entry under the "internet links" tab on the intranet. It is called something along the lines of Checkerboard Chat the official blog of the CPD. I checked it out and found it to be some good CPD propaganda and I am sure it is heavily censored.
I don't buy that earlier post from the person who commented on the sgt going straight to IAD because they wanted him and he has no choice. I thought that he has a union and the right to open bids. Also he could have always turned it down. Sounds like he wanted to go there.

Do you guys ever bother to think logically for a second???? Ebay was banned several months ago. Think for a second, just a second. Why was Ebay banned??? Maybe because the dept can tell what sites are being visited and how often. Ebay was being visited nonstop for long periods of time on the companys dime. It was not for investigative purposes no matter how much we want to cry. All gambling sites were banned with Ebay. The dept wants to get their moneys worth out of the PO's who are supposed to out on the street protecting the citizens.
With ebay gone for a few months the dept noticed the #1 site being visited was SCC. We all know there is no police work being done on this site. Yes this site can be valuable at times but, it has plenty of drawbacks. Everytime an officer gets named on this site the dept smells lawsuit. The dept will have no liability with this site banned from its computers. We the PO's have nobody to blame but ourselves for this site being banned. If we spent half as much time working the streets as we did bitching and reading this site, it might not have been banned. As usual we have nobody but ourselves to blame for what happened here.

unlike most who post here, I will admit when I make an error. Yes MB was a good guy when I knew him, always had your back, aggressive street cop too. So when the negative posts came in about him ratting out another cop, I was confused, because this isn't the MB who I knew. So I did what I should have done, I did some checking and found out that sadly, yes MB did testify against a copper the result of which got that copper fired. This was all done after MB told the copper "he had his back, that he was stand up all the way", I guess a couple of years will change a guy... sad...
I really don't see what the big deal is about the so-called "ban" of SCC from department computers. Most of the time I've spent on this site and virtually ALL of my posts were from home so nothing has really changed.
Occasionally I would check the site from a CPD computer but wouldn't post a comment until I had the time to do so--at home. Perhaps I'm being a bit naive but I'd assumed that this is what everyone was doing.
In any event there's nothing the department can do about this forum. Nothing. Just read and post comments on your own time.

km in 020 is and always has been a piece of shit. He’s been fired from this job at least 3 times. The assholes are the people that help him get back on this job. He loves to bully po’s that are smaller than him, which is most po’s since he’s one big fat fuck, certainly much bigger than myself. I’m sure km remembers me. The last time I saw him we danced a bit together. It started in the 019 parking lot. He invited me to dance with him away from the station. I couldn’t wait so I started by giving him my left hand. A mistake didn’t follow up with my right. km came back and got on top of me and I couldn’t breathe. It could have been the end of the dance, but others got km off me. After a brief rest we meet at the door to the men’s locker room. Where we started it all back up again. Against the lockers we danced, until I got km over a bench and on to the floor. Me on top, km beneath me, looking up with fear in his eyes. Ahh now time for some sweet justice, but it wasn’t to be, as now I was pulled off km. km went on the medical after that. So, km you know who this is, I don’t care to ever see you again, but if you want I’m always ready to dance.

I am glad to hear your story of your epic battle with KM. And while I agree that KM was a little crazy, he never picked on me, why because I never said squat about him to anyone. KM picked battles with those who opined about him behind his back. Did he do it in an adult manner? Maybe, maybe not but it was his call to do what he wanted and I respected him for it.
As far as backing MB for trying to take down this bad cop, you sir, are very wrong to do so. KM did nothing to MB, ever. I would understand it if after your story, YOU, would have testified because, YOU have something vested in it. But to go after someones career for no reason other than your own personal gain is the mark of a selp depricating coward, and sadly not the MB I knew.
One final note, it's great how you still are telling your epic battle, but I'm very sure that KM isn't telling it, because he is old school, you two had a problem, you settled it, it's over, it is time for you to move on...
