Terror Plots Disrupted
Unless you read a lot of the websites we do, you may have missed this entire story. We didn't see it in the Tribune or the Sun Times. It certainly wasn't covered on Channel 2, 5 or 7. LittleGreenFootballs.com points the spotlight at events over in Great Britain this past weekend:

THE al-Qaeda plot to behead a British Muslim soldier was smashed after MI5 intercepted a panic order to the kidnap gang: "If you can't find a Muslim, ANY squaddie (soldier) will do."
A military source revealed: "Security services and police had been watching for them to try to grab a Muslim soldier. But as soon as we knew they were willing to take anyone in any uniform " man or woman " and cut their head off then they had to act.
- from Jules Crittenden - The war with extremist Islam has just entered a new phase. Times of London: Al Qaeda leadership in Pakistan and Iraq have issued orders for British cells to conduct a "low-tech" campaign of abductions and beheadings.
ISLAMIC terror cells in Britain have been instructed to carry out a series of kidnappings and beheadings of the kind allegedly planned by the nine terrorist suspects arrested in Birmingham last week.

We've thought about this on and off for a number of years now. We can't imagine that plots like these haven't been speculated about in certain terror circles. It's surprising that it seems to have only occurred in the former Russian provinces like Beslan, apartment bombings in Moscow and in Spain and London. . Can you imagine a school bombing here? A mall shooting? A copper being kidnapped and beheaded? There's just no way we are ready to deal with something on that scale. Certain individuals might be prepared, but as an institution? Don't even pretend.
And has anyone seen any kind of media coverage? Or is the first inkling that we're going to get is when we see the snuff film on the web?

There will be no media coverage. The liberal media and the oblivious masses that exist like soft skinned sheep believe nothing will happen here. Keep drinking from the well. It's sad to admit that we need another attack to wake up. Stop buying those silly anti terror cameras and lets grow a pair.
You have seen the catastrophic results of suicide truck bombers in Baghdad.
Consider what an al Qaeda cell could do with a step van of explosives during the rush hour in Picadilly Circus, Times Square or North Michigan Avenue.
Add to that the possibility of exploding a nuclear device, complete with plutonium or highly enriched uranium.
Can u imagen flagging down a taxi, u give him the address and u take a nap. Then u wake up and 3 other guys are getting in at some unknown place, and guns/knives are being put to your head!! If your a liberal unarmed puke your f*ked! Your beheading will be on utube the next day.
If your a Copper, maybe u'll get that snub out and at least kill or wound 1 or 2 before they cut your throat; starting the FEDERAL investigation that'll take out that cell that got you!!

This could happen! Just like the clout babies that work in our jttf! work weekdays bankers hours off nights and weekends! typical city bullshit! This spot should be reserved for ex-military people who have the brains to hopefully sort out this potential problem! Go to TARA training and they will tell you the truth about terro cells! And how we are not near ready for anything! At least if the Bears would of won we had recruits who would not wear stocking caps to keep warm to stand outside in the cold! I thought Tobias was ex-military does he have any idea on how to take care of troops?
Right now there are only two factors which are keeping us from becoming another France:
1. we less than 2 million muslims in the US.
2. we have conservative talk-radio and rightwing blogs. They're the only things are capable of keeping us on the track of common sense. We continue to beat back the LibTard Left's propensity towards Political Correctness and Cultural Diversity.
When Muslims begin to get more numbers behind them then we'll see more exposure to Islamic extremism threats. Since their numbers are low they are, in effect, required to keep their mouths shut and play along as Americans. When their numbers increase there will be less pressure on them to conform to our secular society and we'll see more of them getting outspoken about their Islamic agenda.
We've already seen how they're using our religious freedoms to get their most asinine demands met (ie. muslim cab drivers in Minneapolis who don't have to carry fares that have liquor in their suitcases, women who want to have their drivers license photo taken with a burqua covering their face).

The Brits have a lot of anti-terrorist experience due to the long years of battling the IRA.
The IRA targeted off duty military and police so the Brits learned to be low profile. They travel and spend their off duty time in civilian clothes. They do not mark their cars or homes with identifying stickers. They do not wear t-shirts or caps that proclaim that they are in the military, and that holds some what true for their police.
I thought Tobias was ex-military does he have any idea on how to take care of troops?

You sir, are a douchebag. We should do anything we can to protect our city, and our families, from the possibility of terrorism. Even if that means joining a "bullshit unit." To suggest we "boycot" doing our jobs just shows how much of a wussbag you are. Retire already. Get off the public dole.
Every day that passes without a terrorist attack against the citizen of this country lulls us further into a sense of complacency.
I predict that once Obama or Hillary get elected, and the military is pulled out of the Middle East the the fireworks will start here.

If you think that a Republican being in the white house, or the fact that our military is deployed in the middle east, has somehow prevented a terrorist attack in the US, you are mistaken. The only reason they have not attacked us here since 9/11/01 is simply because...they are waiting for what they think is the proper moment. Their capabilities are stronger than they were in the 90s, they are more highly motivated than they were in the Clinton years, and we are more vulnerable than ever, simply because we are arrogant enough to believe that we are winning the "war on terror."
