Why Cut Taxes Again?

Oh yeah, because lower tax rates generate more investment which increases tax receipts and decreases the deficit. But don't believe us. Via Ace of Spades:
You aren't going to see this on the network news because whenever "it's the economy stupid" makes a republican look good, the media buries the story. Hell, the price of oil has been below $60 bucks a barrel for quite a while lately and you won't hear a peep from the left about it.

You are smoking some rocks and blows if you believe that! We are balls deep...in debt to CHINA! Oh, I forgot China is our ally, right? We are spending 12 billion dollars a month in Iraq and we haven't yet "defeated the terrorists." (Because the terrorists who hit us in NY and Washington are in Pakistan right now. Pakistan, another of our allies, right?) And why haven't we gone into the NW Frontier Province of Pakistan to get al Qaeda?

Bush's antiterrorism policy (and domestic financial policy, for that matter) is as ridiculous as his vocabulary. Let's vote for someone who speaks English -- Obama.

Dude you are weak. You only post the comments you agree with or you think will make you look good. Why don't you filter all the racist comments, instead of ones you don't agree with politically?

$130,000,000.00 Mega Millions lottery for Friday!
Erkel should take some of that gravy money he is playing with, about a mil or so, and buy mega million tickets for Friday. real good chance to win and cover that short fall in the budget.

Off the subject. S&S really dropped the ball last night and today. I hardly saw any plows out all night. My side street hasnt been touch yet and half the residents on my block are still stuck in their parking spaces. How hard would it be to make a simply 1 or 2 passes with the plow and salt and then go back to the main streets.

My side street is impassable and I had to park a block away around the corner and walk home. S&S is putting the priority on the main streets, well jagoff, I along with all others on my block cant make it out to the main street because we're stuck on the side street.

When Rudy Giuliani became Mayor of the liberal strong hold of New York City the first thing he did was to cut taxes along with other things and New York City saw economic growth that no one believesd could occur. If you are unsure about your next President choice read the true story of Mayor Rudy G. "PRICE OF THE CITY" I was impresed by him when I read the orginal book "PRINCE OF THE CITY" with Rudy G. as a District Attorny investigating Police corruption. You can also get the 1980's movie (VHS only) by the same name based on the book. As a product of the Public School Sytem I highly recommend it.

Well my friend, a significant amount of our trade defecit comes from jobs lost south of our borders. Why is that? NAFTA, brought to you by none other than Bill Clinton, Demo-rat!

SCC, If you will allow me,

RE: 12:58 PM

The trade deficit has and will continue to rise base on the weak dollar. Naturally, you are not advocating strengthening the dollar. The President has vigorously pursued a free floating currency in China, our leading trading partner of manufactured goods. This is not disputable. Labor costs are the overwhelming factor in the trade deficit. Mexico now exports jobs to China. Are you suggesting an enormous inflationary rate to respond to these imbalances? What is your solution? The trade imbalance has grown at a smaller rate under Bush than under the average rate under Clinton. Was the increasing rate under Clinton his fault? As a growing service oriented society that relies less and less on manufacturing non-essential products, the trade deficits will continue to grow. Unless, of course, you have decided to bring back Carter's stagflation.
Thanks,
John

Quit crying, this isn't the first snow storm we've ever had, deal with it. By noon wednesday my street was plowed, as all the others in my neighborhood. It's an election year, they were even shoveling sidewalks and bus stops, oh yeah, saty on topic!
