Educating Stupid People - Again
Why does it appear that our lot in life is to explain things to people too stupid to actually hold part-time jobs that pay way more than we'll ever earn. In this case, we have to explain things to stupid aldercreatures:
- Chicago aldermen are demanding city council hearings into last year's report on alleged police torture of murder suspects by John Burge and members of his police unit. The aldermen want the authors of the court-ordered report to explain why Burge has never been indicted or stripped of his police pension and why Mayor Daley, who was state's attorney at the time, hasn't been held accountable for not filing charges against the Burge unit.
Let's save everyone a little time and a whole lot of wasted taxpayer dollars:
- Point #1 - Burge was never indicted because the State's Attorney at the time was building up a law-and-order record to run on and didn't want Burge indicted. The State's Attorney then is the current mayor now
- Point #2 - Burge was never stripped of his pension because to do that, you need a criminal conviction. See Point #1 again
- Point #3 - Three words the City Council better learn in a hurry: Statute of Limitations. Its the reason a bunch of current aldercreatures still have jobs (according to Bob Cooley's book anyway)
- Point #4 - Since when has Daley been held accountable for anything? Crooked land deals, fraudulent "minority company" contracts, massive cost overruns, questionable hiring practices, "mericloutorious" promotions of all stripes, etc
Come on. This City, County and much of the State are run by crooked Machine politicians, a complicit republican "opposition" party and not a little bit of Organized Crime. The new members of the City Council really ought to worry about laws they can change - like the foie gras law.

THE COUNCIL IS FULL OF ALZHEIMERS PATIENTS AND NITWITS! ALL THIEVES WHO ARE SCARED WHEN PATRICK FITZGERALD COMES CALLING! Regarding our Aldercreatures:
1. A far much greater percentage of our Aldercreatures have been indicted and convicted over the last twenty years in relationship to police officers.
2. Aldercreatures have guaranteed that they receive a better pension than any other City employee and they contribute less.
3. Aldercreatures have insured that their legal bills are paid up to the time that they are indicted.
4. Aldercreatures have ensured that the Inspector General of the City cannot investigate them or their staffs.
5. The lawyers for the plantiffs are utilizing these hearings as another form of extortion to try and make the City settle their law suits.
6. They know they are on shaky ground when they have to prove that the likes of Aaron Patterson did not commit the crimes he was convicted of and that every reviewing court upheld. George Ryan only pardoned them in order to try to influence the jury pool.
With cars now getting cameras, how about have it give tickets like the stop light cameras to motorists that don't pull over while going to a hot job???

As i understand it, the alderbastard position was created over 120 years ago as a "peace officer" position, which allowed them to carry guns.With all the "I DONT WANT GUNS IN MY CITY" bullshit, how come we never hear anything about them allowed to carry a weapon???? Not to long ago i remember some ass on t.v. saying he didnt want to let the retirees carry because "WHO IS GOING TO BE RESPONSIBLE IF THEY WERE TO SHOOT SOMEONE" Who would be responsible if one of the so called PEACE OFFICERS was to shoot someone or them selves in the foot! Who regulates them??? Or is it like the scene in the UNTOUCHABLES where the cop finds the gun on the bad guy, then is handed a business card with the mayors name on it, and on the back it says "friend of the mayor, blah blah blah" Do they have foid cards? Do they register them???? Maybe we will all be lucky one day and everyone will pull them all out at the same time and kill each other at a city council meeting!!! Lets see at $120k+ a year for the "PART TIME????" spot multiply that by 50+ of these assholes, PLUS their expense accounts. Dont fill the spots for 2 years and theirs your 10 mil. DON RITCHY. We dont really need them, what do they do anyway???Vote them selves another raise every year, and raise our taxes?? Burge is easy to find, some family member sound have stuck a darning needle in the base of his spine a long time ago.
I always thought it was up to internal affairs and ops to investigate allegations of bruatality and wrongdoing on the Police Department. I think its bullshit that former Superintendent Brczek would try to lujac that one off to the States Attorney's office, regardless of whether it was Daley or anyone else. Funny, didn't Brzek run for states attorney as a republican. Or maybe you werent on the job back then.
Quit your effin whinin about Burge. Brzek as Superintendent was responsible for the activities of IAD. He also had oversite on recommendations from OPS which investigates allegations of police brutality. If his units wanted to proceed with arrests against Burge and the gang from Area 2, he should have called in the States Attorney for felony review and then charged him. But then you'd be bitchin about that as well. I think you have too much time on your hands
Looking for something interesting to read. Check out the annual city budget. About 65 to 75% of it goes to the Chicago Police and Fire Department. Want to save the city about 50 million plus a year. Check out the settlements paid by some of the bafoonery attributable to the Police and Fire department. Saw an interesting video on YouTube the other day. It was the one where the PO working special employment shot the guy in the head with the story that he came upon a fight and was breaking it up. Video shows a different story, So please, dont go throwing stones at glass houses. There's plenty of shit within the ranks thats giving fuel to all the lawsuits being filed against the city. I dont think too many of you could walk into the private sector with a persecution complex and knock down 75/80 thousand a year with the medical benefits you have. If the job sucks as badly as you often times portray, go be happy somewhere else. Run for office, you could do better, right?
