We Feel Safer Already
- Gov. Rod Blagojevich announced Sunday the launch of a Methamphetamine Manufacturing Registry now operating on the Illinois State Police Web site.The registry, similar to the state's sex offender registry, lists the names of those convicted of manufacturing meth, according to a release from the governor’s office.The registry lists the name, date of birth, offense, conviction date and county where the meth manufacturing took place, the release said. It is set to be updated daily.
Sex Offender Registry? Great idea - very useful along with pictures and addresses and offenses arrested for. But a Meth Offender Registry? We think we recognize the odor of tax dollars being wasted.

Yippieeeeeeeeeeee!, That'll teach em'.Just imagine the shame they will feel when their own picture on the website.Why they might instantly turn around and become upstanding citizens. Get real Gov. these people are meth heads, just like heroin addicts and crack heads. They belong in prison, for life. I say life because there is no hope for them and they will only cause good people pain and suffering.They truely are throw aways, but they have thrown themselves away so why should we care.
How about a regsitry showing why blago uses a state plane everyday at a cost minimum of $5,900 per day not including the huge salaries of those aboard. We have Airforce 1 for the president and in Illinos we have "Going to jail soon 1", I cannot wait and am excited that the feds took all of roddys records and hopefully will indict him and gran daley up SOON! Again the politicrats are about 5 years too late...the majority of the meth going around the country is made in Mexico. Talk about a waste of resources.
Will the site allow viewers to rate the quality of the meth these guys produce? Will a page number be included?
