What is wrong with the officer's in this cartoon??
Their badges are on the wrong side.
Can someone in 011 keep sgt z or whatever the fuck his name is in 011. Fucker doesn't have enough micro-managing to do in 011 he has to come over into 010 and start micro-managing over there. "squad, make this call a 10-1, squad get me 12th dist over here, squad do this do that." Go fuck yourself.
I can't believe our bosses haven't tried this one yet. It's perfect. From what I see, the seatbelt, wolfpack, saturation, violence supression, reverse sting, drinking on the public way, & the smoking a blunt missions only produce contact cards and city ordinance offenses. (Of which the arrestees are i-bonded 4 hrs later before the arresting officers are even off work.) I say we try the "Honk If You've murdered, raped, or robbed someone and have yet to be caught" mission. Charles Williams is sure to make Sup if he tries this.

dic used to be the best job on the dept. and now every one i talk to is highly discouraged.
I heard that some of the new initiatives will include....
"Turn In Your Relative Day" yep, citizens will be given redeemable coupons depending on the age of the relative,the crime that occurred and the degree of interest.
"Operation Heely" because of the recent spike in gas prices, all officers will be issued Department authorized "Heelys". Really, no more messy cars. Officers will be asked to wear specially designed beanies, much like the baseball cap,with an attached antennae which will capture the rays of the sun for the newly designed "solar powered" PDT. Yep, and since our radio's batteries have a shelf life of about 15 minutes on a good day,all officers will be given a box of department authorized matches. This will be used to start the fire which will then give the officer ample fuel to send OEMC smoke signals.
"Dress Up Day" We all are aware that there is a new general order,(really,I checked,there really is an order...and I heard inspectors are going to be enforcing this new dress code,so watch out)that allows all inside folks to be out of uniform on Fridays...so, the new addendum will actually ask the insiders to get this, "wear the uniform". Really, it might bring back memories of how they looked when they were the police.
"Virtual Cop" in an effort to cut back on hiring of new officers who become meanies while arresting innocent citizens, Chicago citizens will be issued a computer program that will allow them to design their own personal officer, yep..really. They simply choose the officer's race, sex, (uniformed or not, sort of like in real life)language etc. All programs will come with a "self arrest form". Really, and, a new feature will have a "Virtual Judge" installed or available for an upgrade. This exciting new program will not only allow the user to pick the crime he or she committed, but, you'll be able to pick the verdict too!
Also, in an effort to really, really get tough on repeat offenders, all criminals.....will be placed on shhhhh..."DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION".
Personally, I would like to give props to the Area two HGS that works days. I mean seriously...I thought I was a lazy dog!! God damn people!! you make me look like I work in a Nike sweatshop! You guys are something else over there! Thanks for nuttin

How about making some detectives who deserve it instead these meretorious mutts and people off the list who were given the answers to the test.
Promote working police officers to detective, and get rid of the dead weight in the division.
It is so obvious what the problems are, go into Area 1 and see the murder guys playing part poker, talking their cell phones, playing video golf, I mean I could go on and on. Then to make it worse they talk down to the patrol officers, and then expect our help, FUCK THEM. Go back to playing golf and talking about how you used to beat confessions out of guys, ableit the wrong guys.
TO the powers that be in A/4 please keep Sgt AZ buried in 011.

I don't know about the other areas, but area 1 has some real good workers. Just had a case with some third watch dicks and was impressed with their work. even the two ASAs on the case said how impressed they were. And by the way this crew was a mixture of an experienced dick and two newer ones.
Dear 008th District Commander(L.S) why is it that you follow the same lead as J.C. We in the west end of 008 need help. Please don't give us the same old BS that the DOC needs arrests(ooopps,I mean locking some hype for a pipe)wolf-pack missions, dispersals(can be done within the 15 minutes of work). Enough is enough, I know you answer to somebody, but for a change can you answer to the taxpayers of the west end of 008. It was funny, when it was mentioned on this blog about tact guys in 008 not being allowed west of central magically they appeared. One month later, poooofff they were gone(sorry before you got here). Please answer me this, why won't you help us? We pay taxes, yeah yeah yeah, I know I've heard it all before, there is more crime east of central,well maybe if your hack tact guys accept for a few,did some real police work, beat 812 would'nt start going to sh%$. But hey what do you care? Hopefully you do. What will it take? Do you think the reason may be he cannot promise his tact guys "ribbons" for arrests on the west end? Maybe because he was not told by his clout (EDDIE BURKE) to do it! i to am a dogass,never used to be, got lots of awards , dc, life savind , po of the month over 175 honorable mentions, but after 26 years i am ashamed that i fear getting fired ,more than getting hurt on this job, and have been hurt several times, hospitalized for months. but now i fear the white shirts ,who would fuck us over because they dont know or give a fuck about the thin blue line... micro managers is all they are. you fuck up, they will say i told him not to do that... then fired..... be carefull

The bosses today are testostrone deficient, clueless stupervisors. What a crew! No more Majors, diaper filling Captains, and Lieutenants with the very very same responsibilities as a Sergeant.
The new FDC is turning our organization chart into another wagon wheel just like we had under Malinowski! Before we had 4-5 Chicagoans that couldnt make a decision, were drunk, had a lip-lock on Cline, were AWOL, etc.
Now we have JP and his puppet who cant make a decision, and when they do it is a poor one.
The non-police/liberal money people like the mobbed up alarm guy are running amuck. Grand Ave. tried to burn his house down, a message here? Why did Tommy keep him?

Not a PPO. I've got seven LOOOONG years on and have yet to meet a "dick" worth a damn. Oh sure, lots of good guys but great at blowing shit off. I can understand thier frustration. Having to put work into a case that will most likely go nowhere, can be defeating. However, it's your job, so do it. (The D2A pay should help ease your frustrations)
Maybe some day I will make "dick", but until I get invited to the next super-secret underground study group, I'll just have to be satisfied with studying my ass off only to break into the top thousand on the next list. I know, maybe I should get onto an 11th district tact team and make friends with some politicians' son, so we can all study hard and do well enough for the whole team to make the first class of "dicks"!!!!! YIPEEEEE!!!!

First off, nobody called a 10-1, they asked for more cars to disperse a large crowd. Cars showed up and were moving the crowd when in comes SGt Z and states "uhhh, squad, uuhhh, uuhhh, uhhh, go ahead and make this a 10-1, get on the city wide and make it a 10-1, get me some cars from 012, uhh, uuhh, and lets start moving these people." I can understand he wanted more cars there, but coppers were not getting beat up on, coppers were not in danger, so to make it a 10-1 and have all these cars from the city wide and from 012 district rushing over there for a 10-1 that wasn't is just plain reckless. Also, when he was busted by the inspector for not being at his seat belt mission was about an hour and a half after HIS 10-1. Dude just didn't want to be at a seatbelt mission, he had to many orders to give out.....
