In a number of comments, people are claiming that convicted cop killer Andrew Wilson, one of the "torture victims" of Commander Jon Burge has died. We're attempting to find an obituary for verification to assist Burge in finding a location he can empty his bladder when he arrives in town.

Burge is a class act. I am personally glad he was here when he was. I have known him for many years. I thank him for his supervision
P.P.O. Doyle was an officer in my recruit class and is sorely missed after almost 27 years. Anyone who is the real police knows that the Wilson brothers were guilty. Fahe and O'rien were also apart of the equasion. Sad day. stick together.

The Reader has the whole story. Wilson died on 19 Nov 07. Conroy, the lover of cop killers, writes a long, sympathetic article about Wilson. The usual tripe; good family bacground, nice neighborhood, liked by the neigbors, etc. No first communion pics, just a pic of a sad guy who did not get what he deserved; capital punishment.

In addition, you can pass your buddy's paper off as your own at your peril, just like being the police, it isn't worth the risk in my opinion. Yes I attend Lewis and it's one of the best decision I've made. was it easy? Hell no.
I've carried an overload for the last four semesters (working mids in the ghetto to boot) and have gone year round since Fall 05 and will finish my B.A. with @ a 3.4 gpa in the spring, then go on for my M.S. at Lewis as well. You have to put your work in and I've worked my ASS OFF. So have other coppers in the program so trust me, we hate unqualified birth defects getting rewarded multiple times on this job too.
And yes, we are about to reap the giant, flaming tornado coming across the deepest part of the Shit River and all it's tributaries for the rampant goofy-ism infesting the exempt ranks and supervision on this job but hopefully the new super can stomp the colonic bag really hard to give this job the cleansing it needs... Sorry for the long post 12:27AM... we all have good reason to be pissed nowadays. Oh, btw a special fire is being stoked for the so called "reverends" 10-4? Stay safe...

There is no doubt that Burge and his crew tortured suspects--none. To read some of you defend acts of torture and see the phrase torture victims in quotes is despicable. I am embarrassed and fearful to live in a city where cops think this is ok--let alone celebrate it.
Torture is wrong because it is inhumane--period--regardless of the recipient. (It is also ineffective and does harm to the torturer(s)--those who aren't total sociopaths.)
Wilson could and by all accounts was guilty as hell and a scumbag, but that doesn't excuse torture. Perhaps you have heard of the Bill of Rights? There was a time when it was considered the law of the land.

Go ahead and get that copied paper, when you turn it in, it will be exposed as plagiarism.. many courses require the TurnitIn program which checks your paper for just that. You would be surprised at the outcome... cheat, at Lewis or elsewhere, and you will fail...

WRONG.. you must do the work and fulfill the requirements as well as the residency.. also, not so many hours for having attended the academy anymore either.
I actually think Governors State is a much easier place to get a degree.

Before you get too geeked up about a Masters from Lewis, why not take the LSAT and see if the Lewis BA does you any good!
Andrew Wilson should have died on a gurney at stateville with a needle in his arm in a state execution. He got many more years of life than he ever deserved. He took the lives of Fahey, a father of four and O'Brien. Rest in Peace Fahey and O'brien. Go directly to hell Andrew Wilson. We hope your brother Jackie joins you soon.
wison resisted arrest and was grabbing at the officer's weapon and necessary fatal force was used, pat camden was probably 15 at the time and it would have sounded legit, cause it is, by a teenaged camden....but cuffing and then torturing? esp. with these pesky videos,.. better get it done before you close the door !! may he rot in peace.

George Ryan claimed he conducted an investigation and he found that Aaron Patterson, Stanley Howard, Leroy Orange and Madison Hobley were innocent and wrongfully convicted. He should share the evidence that he used to the investigators so they can therefore find the guilty and prosecute them.
There must be a minimum of four mass murderers, of members of our minority community, walking the streets.

O'Malley is a merit sgt who took a job unfairly thru clout from a more deserving man or woman. She is a good cop but obtained an illegal promotion.
I hope andrew wilson is burning in hell by his testicles. Burge never torchered any one, those hearings were a mockery with tha prick former USA attorney acting as a prosecutor, against former ASA Kunkle. I hope Dets. O'hara and Yacuitiss were waiting at the pearly gates for Mr. Wilson.

For the life of me, I will never understand how a cop killer is taken into custody. Assuming that it is a known fact, without question, that this person killed a cop in cold blood, it seems that it would be a simple matter of using deadly force to effect the arrest.

I am really sorry that I took an undeserving spot from a qualified officer although you were kind enough to say that I am a good cop albeit am illegal promotion. Get over yourself and anyone else that spews this nonse. I was #54 on first list. Want to debate it? Come on...I have the merit list. I am a good cop and have always had the CPD foremost in my mind. I have been here 34 years. Am working the watch in a district with no complaints other than offices are not being treated fairly. What is your claim to fame other than some creepy interest in me.
