FOP Current Updates has an e-mail link and a phone number for the Mette bus trip to Iowa and back.
- Lodge #7 is making arrangements for bus transportation for those members that would like to support Mike in his time of need.
Members who wish to attend should contact the Lodge ASAP at 312-733-7776 or by email. Please submit your request to attend no later than Tuesday, September 9, 2008.

There will be NO consumption of fermented or distilled adult beverages until the ride home.
I will personally purchase 2 bottles. 1 Telemor Dew, and 1 gallon of Jack Daniels and 2 cases of Beer.
Those will be purchased outside of Crook County as to avoid the payment of City and County Taxes.

Can the media on this blog contact the DOJ - Prisoners Rights to see if they're going to do an investigation concerning his treatment while in prison?? I filed a complaint about a month + ago.
funny...everyone is always yelling and screaming about going to iowa and getting something together.. now the chance is here and and a bus is ordered and there are only 5 people posting...strange

Man, dude, you must be a miserable human being to jump on some guy for this. It's a great cause, but I guess you won't be going...
Just a sugestion, If you are going to drive rent a car. Request one with out of state plates(Other then ILL). The Judge, prsecutors and Officers will be there defending thier case and verdict. And thier fellow officers will be there backing them up. Issuing tickets and towing cars.
No drinking and act like you expect every one to act in a court room and around the court house. They will be just looking for a chance to Jam another Chicago Copper. DON'T let it be YOU!
I can already see the headlines. Chicago Cop gets arrested in a bar fight while in town to suport one of their own.

I doubt they are looking to "get" anyone. However, if you act inappropriately, they may decide you are worthy of being gotten.
Dress Blues? It would definitely leave an impression.
