- In the lowest ratings ever recorded for an elected politician in nearly three decades of Tribune polls, a new survey found few approving of the job Blagojevich is doing as governor and even fewer who want him re-elected.
The results show the state's first Democratic governor in a quarter-century has lost the confidence of voters in his own party. Moreover, the backing of one of his strongest voting blocs—African-Americans—appears to be falling away.
Overall, the survey of 500 registered likely voters conducted at the end of last week showed a mere 10 percent said they wanted Blagojevich re-elected in 2010, while three-fourths said they didn't want him back for a third term.
The Lisa Madigan governorship looms ever closer. Not even the threat of a Paul Vallas return can stop the Madigan juggernaut from steam rolling all opposition.

Yet the idiots in this State (see: City of Chicago) that are so against voting again for Blago won't think twice about voting for Obama (Democrat: check, Chicago: check, Cook County: check, Illinois: check) for President.
13% approval rating? I'll bet that figure is inflated. It can't possibly be that high.
Consider this, in my lifetime Gov.'s Otto Kerner, Dan Walker and George Ryan were convicted of felonies. Another Illinois governor, William Stratton, was tried but acquitted of tax evasion charges in 1965. And it is highly likely that Gov. Blago will be indicted, tried and convicted as well.
There is a much higher percentage of conviction among Illinois' governors than among Outfit Bosses!
Would that make the Office of Governor of Illinois qualify as an "ongoing criminal enterprise?" Just wondering.

Obama only leads because he is black. Do not forget, most of the United states isn't going to vote on skin color like the retards here will. The yuppies will do it because it is trendy and the blacks do it because they want more government freebies.
I say if Obama is elected Lisa Madigan gets the U.S. Attorney's spot so long as she and Daddy promise to leave King Richie alone. That also gives brother Billy an open shot for Governor.

I don't think you are being fair to Dan Walker. His felonies were not in connection with his service as governor.
Hopefully it will be a hat trick on the next round of elections. Blago, Toddler and shortshanks all gone. By tje time the new crew comes together to fuck up the city, county and state, I will be retired and gone from Shitcago and the state of confusion called Illinois. Hell I'm 60 yrs old and my penis has a higher approval rating than that with women and I don't even need the media to inflate it for me.

If, as seems likely, Blago leaves office early due to indictment, Pat Quinn takes over.
Its pretty hard to unseat a sitting governor of your own party.
I know little about Pat Quinn other than his self serving claims of being a reformer, yet he is a part of the evil politcal machine in Chicago.
