That internal report ginned up by the Obama people? The one that clears Obama's people of any wrongdoing? Blago's lawyer wants to make it Exhibit A in the impeachment proceedings:
SPRINGFIELD -- Gov. Blagojevich's lawyer Monday intends to submit President-elect Barack Obama's internal report to a House impeachment panel as evidence the governor wasn't trying to enrich himself while deciding who to appoint to Illinois' vacant U.S. Senate seat.
Denied the ability to subpoena Obama's inner circle, defense attorney Ed Genson told the Chicago Sun-Times Sunday that the report will buttress his arguments the governor has done nothing wrong and deserves to remain in office.
Golly. Who'd have thunk it? Blago to be bailed out by an investigation spearheaded by Obama's people. Amazing how this is all going to work out. The Machine protects its own.

Blago is going to be successfully impeached.
It's also clear from the transcripts released by the fiendish Feds that Blago is not a big fan of how the Obama folks responded to his overtures. Suggesting that Obama had carnal knowledge of his own mother is not what I would call a successful conspiracy.
Now there are many valid reasons to criticize Obama. This aspect of the Blago thing isn't one of them.
Now criticizing Obama for supporting Hairgel Rod in 2002 and 2006 is VALID. I voted for Vallas and in 2006 I voted for the Judy Judy Judy. Don't blame me.
Criticizing Obama for not going after Daley after Obama became "ObamaSaurus Rex" in Illinois politics is also valid.

I'm not sure that this is as much a case of the Machine protecting its own, as it is a case of Obama & Company distancing themselves from Blago, and, in the process, unwittingly giving Blagos defense an angle... in fact, his defense team is already using all claims of innocense by people around Blago, as proof that each such claim by others is additional proof of his own innocense.

Consider me naive, but I don't understand. How does Obama's internal report "prove" that B wasn't trying to sell the Senate seat? There were plenty of other times (recorded) B offered the seat for sale. How can Obama's report possibly bail out B?
We know the Obama report was crafted to protect Emanuel first, and possibly The Oracle himself. The MSM cleared Obama of any wrongdoing by accepting the report entirely on its own merits.

Thanks to many in the local and national media for facillitating the turning of the United States of America in to a third world political shit hole by not performng your fiduciary responsibility of helping to preserve the ideals this country was founded upon and educating the citizens.
The media isn't totally at fault for this fraud but they sure rate a cloae 2nd in contributory negligence.
I now look upon most of those in the media lower then then an actual street whore.

The impeachment panel will not allow Blah-go-to-jail-bitch's lawyer request to go through. US attorney asked that they not subpeona the information as it could jeapordize his criminal case and they agreed.

Hello FED's (to include Justice Dept, whoever is working as a FLE agent/officer or Federal DA), is anyone there? I know you people read this blog but do any of you plan to do anything like investigate this or is Obama already safe from any criminal investigation? If he did something wrong, investigate and prosecute, if Blago did something wrong then investigate and prosecute. If Obama's people are throwing bullshit up then call them on it. Illinois state Sen. Dan Rutherford says he has discussed concerns about the planned closure of the prison at Pontiac with the FBI and is asking others to come forward with information about “inappropriate activity” that may be tied to embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
“I am asking those who have knowledge of inappropriate activity surrounding this flawed decision (to close the state Pontiac Correctional Center) to provide information” to U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, Rutherford, R-Chenoa, said Tuesday.
