Thanks for all you did to help us rest in peace you will be missed
FOP Rep
holy shit! I just talked to him a week or so ago! (granted it was on speaker phone while he ate lunch) but he definitely helped me out atleast a time or two... RIP Tim... very sad
RIP Tim, be safe and warm with our Lord.
RIP, Fraternal Brother
My deepest sympathies to his family, his brother Tom and Wife Julie.
Oh my god. This is terrible news. The 3 Fallon brothers are top notch Chicago Cops. He also has a brother Terrance who is a great guy. My condolences to the family. RIP brother.
Tim, thank you for everything you have done for me, and us as a department. I will miss you my friend. Please be with God and be at peace.

RIP TIMMY!
He was always "Good People" he helped any officer I sent his way when I was a Unit Rep.
I read on here it was a massive heart attack.
I just wish to express my condolences to his family, his FOP fraternal Brothers and sisters, and his police family.
Everyone please read you FOP newsletter. Just this month there was an offer for a Heart scan at heart scan of Chicago for those of us with the BC/BS PPO.
I called last week, they are filled up through April already. HOWEVER, you can ask to be put on a cancellation list. I did and a few days later they called me when someone else cancelled. I already had the scan. Its quick, painless, and the staff was great. They also check your blood for cholesteral, triglycerides, etc.
I was done in about an hour.
IN TIM's MEMORY lets all get our hearts checked, it's great peace-of-mind considering all the risk factors many of us have (smoking, lack of sleep, poor diet, stress, family history, etc.)
Do it for your families, do it for your partners, do it for your team members. JUST DO IT.
There are no "Do-overs" in life. Lets take care of ourselves & remember our friend TIM!
B.H.
Tim - You were always there to help other coppers out. You were a good man that truly cared and will be missed. TM
Tim, you were alaways a friend and helped me out numerous times and I always liked your outlook and sensitivity (LOL). Rest in peace brother.
Rest In Peace,Brother.
Wow...
This was a shocker. First Risley, now Fallon. More proof to myself that I am further along in the Back 9 of Life than I would like to admit.
Tim Fallon was one of the most charismatic guys you would meet on this job. Just the sight of him put a smile on my face. Like you were always part of an inside joke, our inside joke, the CPD.
While Timmy was a rabble rouser, there are few I could think of that are more loyal to forwarding the patrolman's issues, and dedicated to making sure we had fun doing the job. He was a giant, he will be missed.
God Bless Julie and the Fallon clan.
-Larry Coleman
My condolences to the family, FOP and to the CPD. I'm very sorry for your loss.
R.I.P.
Tim always helped. He was my go-to guy down there. He was one guy who would not merely read the contract to you out of the book.
He always took the time to give complete real world answers to contract questions and helped me out a lot. I learned over the years to depend on him exclusively on grievance and contract issues. I thought him abrasive at first but gradually got to really like and appreciate the guy.
He always returned calls and told me, "This is what we do for each other, we back each other up and help each other." How right you were Tim.
I was stunned to hear of his passing. Very sad news.
He will be missed.
FOP Unit Rep
A TRUE Cop and FRIEND. He will be missed. Thank you for your service and rest in peace. God Bless your family
Wow I will always remember our days in 023 rest in peace!
Wow, only 54? When I received the email yesterday, i had to read it twice. My condolences to the Fallon & the FOP family. He will be missed. RIP, Tim.
Tim, you will be missed. You have helped me out on more than one occasion. You were a mentor when I first started in 023. Nobody will be able to fill your shoes, RIP.
The members of the Lyons FOP Lodge #44 extend our condolences to the CPD FOP#7 family and to the family of Tim Fallon.

Lyons FOP #44
I remember him showing up around midnight after a shooting on the southeast side and he was awesome. Walked me thru everything as it was my first shooting, stayed till 8am or so.
RIP Tim.
Tim: thanks for everything. I went to 023 on midnights as a recruit and he was the watch secretary. He was great, helpful. Great guy that helped the us.
Way too young. This keeps happening to these young guys. Please take care of yourselves everyone. God Bless the Fallon family. You're in our prayers
Best wishes to the family....
Tim always had a smile on his face. He had a very sarcastic sense of humor and could always make me laugh. He will be missed.
Tim's life was not long enough but it was good enough. You will be missed.
Tim thanks for all the great memories and laughs.
he was very kind and tried helping me the very best he could. Although I did not know the man very well...he seemed to have a big heart for coppers and that to me is the ultimate sacrifice!
Condolences to Tim FALLON and family. Worked with brother Mickey A5HGS for a while and if Timmy was anything like Mick we lost a wonderful guy! RIP Tim
God Bless you Tim.
Remember.. There is no smoking allowed when you get up to the golden gates pal.
Condolences to the Fallon family and all CPD, I didn't know Tim but from what I've read he was an upstanding guy.
RIP Brother.
RIP...May God bless his family, so very sorry. All are in my thoughts.
My deepest condolences to Julie and the family. Tim was always a gentleman when i went into 023 for a bond on midnights. RIP Brother..
Former Traffic Car
He made himself available to me and the problems I had during my four year run as a unit rep. And we had a couple of good laughs too.
I am shocked and in disbelief. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tim and his family.
Thank you, Tim.
Godspeed

RIP Tim........ A stand up guy, and a wonderful man.

This is unbelievable. CPD retirees should say a prayer for Tim.
I am a CPD Retiree. In August 2007, I was denied gun registration by the City after I attempted to register a weapon I had purchased to replace my malfunctioning firearm. I was in full compliance with HR214. I was put in touch with Tim, explained all of the facts to him and he immediately relayed the facts to the FOP Attorney's. Tim made sure that I received representation(Dan Herbert) at the Administrative Hearing and the Circuit Court. Through Tim's help, a new ordinance will become law on March 12th, eliminating what the City had tried to do to me.
The irony of this is that my family doctor suggested in January that I take a nuclear stress test. It disclosed 3 blockages ranging from 70-85%. Two weeks ago I had a triple bypass performed that probably saved my life or at least a stroke. I only had symptoms of a slight shortness of breath and a small family history. Bypasses, Angioplasty, and Stent surgeries are done by the hundreds everyday by cardio-surgeons. It's a very common procedure. Talk it over with your family doctor and get a referral and preapproval for testing. If the doctor won't agree to maybe "stretch" the diagnosis for preapproval, since we know how the insurance game is played, it might be time search for a new doc. Think of those you will be leaving behind. That is what I did.
Unfortunately, I can't leave home for the next 2 weeks while I rehab, but I will be saying prayers for Tim and his family.
R.I.P. Brother Tim
Retired almost 12years.......
Tim was a true gentleman, always ready to help other coppers with a smile on his face. May God bless and keep him.
Rest in peace, my brother.
My condolences to the Fallon family.
Through tears, I pray for you. You will be missed so very much. I can't believe you are gone. RIP my brother.
God bless Julie and the Fallon family.
FOP Rep
Sorry to hear about the bad news. Tim was a great cop and helped out all hours of the night on police shootings. He will be missed.
I have known Tim a long time. A true loss to the CPD, FOP, and the City of Chicago. My deepest sympathy to Julie and the Fallon family. I'll never forget when I pepper sprayed him by accident when we were bringing a prisoner to the lock up in 023. It's a funny incident and Tim was laughing after it happened. I along with the 23rd District will truely miss him. God bless you Tim. Julie, if you need anything just call us at 023 and you got it.
All my sympathy,
Lou Danielson, 023 2nd Watch.
What a horrible loss, my deepest sympathy to the Fallon family.
RIP Tim
Tim broke balls, but did it with class. At times he was the voice of dissent...a voice that needed to be and was heard.
RIP.
Another former traffic car
Officer Fallon will remain in our hearts forever. And, to his loving family, our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow. Remember, the CPD, no matter what, is a brotherhood and if you need anything at all, please reach out and ask.
Man...Tim was a good man!!
My deepest condolences to the Fallon family.
RIP brother ... thank you for your service and dedication.
Reminds me of the death of Wally Siemiak in 1987 or there abouts. Wally did the same thing that Tim was doing before he died. Only then, Wally had no help. Handling the grievances, the disciplinary hearings, the midnight shootings takes a toll that is unimaginable. I didn't know Tim but it takes a special person to do that job and from what I see in the comments, Tim was just such a person. R.I.P.
RIP, thanks for being a good FOP member
Tim you will be missed and rest in peace my deepest sympathy to Julie and the Fallon Family.
RG 023 2nd watch
Goddamnit!
Why do the real good ones have to go like this, and so young!
Rest in peace brother, I miss you already.
I am still in disbelief about this. I didn't have a chance to know Tim back in his wild days in 015 but the stories I've been told are hilarious. I knew him in his more recent years in 023 and then at FOP though and I have to say, he was definitely the kind of cop I aspired to be. Professional when he needed to be yet didn't take himself too seriously that he couldn't tell a good joke with lots of cussing! Julie, please know our prayers are with you at this most difficult time of your life. Tim will surely be missed but at least we got one of the good guys up there lookin down on us.
Rest in Peace Brother!
Tim was the brightest individual of the 7 guys involved that are/were field reps.
Never met him, but my condolences and prayers for his family just the same.
For an organization shrinking as fast as it is, it never ceases to amaze me how many people you never meet until it's their last day. God Bless, God Speed!
GRAND CROSSING GUNSLINGER
I miss my guy.
