Anyone keeping an eye on Marco Morales? Because the way cooperating Combine politicos seem to die off before testifying, sentencing, or reporting for jail, we'd be worried about his health:
A day after Christopher Kelly died in Chicago, a host of questions remained today about the final hours of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's one-time top adviser, who was about to start serving a prison term.
Police said this morning they didn't yet know whether Kelly, 51, tried to kill himself by ingesting the drugs found inside the 2007 black Cadillac Escalade registered to his roofing company. But a girlfriend told police Kelly said he wanted to commit suicide in text messages he sent to her.
After an initial autopsy, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said further studies are needed before it can determine a cause of death.
And they transferred him to Stroger Hospital? Gee, this is like a conspiracy theorist's playground. When are they going to start mentioning Rezko?

This story makes absolutely no sense. None. Aspirin? C'mon. And what's with going from downtown or Burr Ridge all the way out to a lumber yard in CCC? For what. The girlfriend lived downtown, he lived in a near west suburb. Why would they go to a lumber yard (to die) in Country Club Hills unless it was actually a trap and someone was waiting for them there? If he was going to o'd, he could have just done it wherever he was and be done with it. And he seems too egotistical to kill himself.

Guys like Kelly, economic sociopaths, a term I've coined for people who feel there is only so much wealth in the world and they have to have all of it or more then anyone around them. They will do anything to acquire it, generally just short of murder, sometimes even that. They are not capable of having a feelng of guilt. If they were, the things they did would so eat at them they couldn't do what they do.
You have to have a conscience to feel the kind of guilt to put an end to your life for ripping off the public for tens of millions of dollars and burdening your kids and family wilth a father who is publicly outed as a fraud and piece of crap thief.
Skilling, Madoff, Ryan, Blago, Rezko, Falwell, all these frauds have the conscience and regret of the gang banger who shoots a 10 year-old for street cred. They go on insisting hey are the innocent victim and straight-up guy loyal to their "friends" all the way. They never admit they're crooks and frauds and they don't kill themselves.
Kelly, 50-something, taking his life because he couldn't hack 8 years in prision is a joke.
Cook County history (Quarters Boyle, Morales etc.) shows that in Cook County, if you do your time and not talk, you'll be fine.
After decades of ripping people off and cutting corners, this guy didn't just start feeling all down and guilty.
Walking out of the court last week he didn't look like a blabbering wreck all broken up over his corrupt actions over the last couple of decades. His hair was coiffed and he was in a tailored suit and he even had a defiant look on his face as he left the court.
His "suicide" is likely a "why take a chance" act on the part of the combine just like that guy who died fallng off his horse in lightning speed after being indicted.

All of these shortcuts will end up costing your job. How hard is it to do what is necessary and go on with the day? NOT HARD AT ALL and it all comes down to one word; LAZINESS and COMPLACENCY.
The investigation is doomed because the lead investigating agency is the Country Club Hills Police Department.
It is my opinion that Mayor Welch believes he is qualified to handle any investigation without any assistance.
His record on hiring police chiefs is poor.
The current chief, Regina Evans, was recognized by many as an incompetent sergeant and lieutenant in Chicago who received her promotions through the aid of politicians.
One of her predecessors was the former Chief of Organized Crime in Chicago, Ray Risley, who cost the City of Chicago millions of dollars in a lawsuit involving the infamous Joe Medzianowski.
Let us hope and pray that the FBI steps in and gets to the bottom of what happened!

SCC... OFH/Cook County hospital procedure with anyone and EVERYONE who needs to get trauma treatment or emergency surgery gets transfered to Stroger via private ambulance (ATI Ambulance). If the private ambulance takes longer than 10 min or so to respond, the local municipal ambulance is called via 911 to transport to the nearest trauma center. The time they took to treat him at stroger probably didn't have anything to do with his death. Wait until the toxicology reports come out and you will see that there was much more in his system than is being reported.
From what the OFH Police said, he admitted to taking a bunch of shit therefore admitting the attempted suicide. This is well documented. That asshat mayor of Country Club Hills is making this a Circus because he is looking for his 15MIn of fame.
OFH Police were called to the ER because Kelly was being uncooperative with the ER staff. Then he was transfered and ended up dead hours later.
The FBI was all over this before anyone then backed off when they heard the facts from OFH Police and they also knew all along who the "mystery man" was who tried to take the vehicle before Country Club Hills claimed it as evidence.
The guy was corrupt, and now he is dead. Lets move on. Country Club Hills has nothing better to do than waste tax payer money on an unnecessary investigation.
I bet John Harris is shitting in his pants now. Where does he hide after this?

mauer was fired on friday.. just made the breaking news website today. as many of you know he was in charge of aviation security. the reason he was fired, although they dont say it in the paper was because he was the one that allowed ruthie and her pals into the airport to greet elton john. so, i guess we know who the fall guy in this whole thing was.. in my opinion, mauer was a prick anyway. always thought his way was the better way.. too much of a micromanager and had some wierd complex that he was general patton... either way, he went down for ruthie and took responsibility for it. is this the end???

Country Club Hills initiated an active investigation before he died, even though it looked like merely a suicide attempt by a man who lived in Chicago who was taken to Oak Forest Hospital. A CCH office questioned him that very night. What brought the officer to Oak Forest? Why was CCH involved at that point? The only reason I can think of is that they had already found something suspicious at Forest Lumber. Who suggested they search Forest Lumber? What were they looking for? What did they find?
Also, note that the investigation was open BEFORE the anonymous guy came looking for Kelly's car.

The detectives in Country Club Hills are very competent and skilled bunch of guys. Please dont fault them because they have a dick head mayor and a useless police chief. Why do you think the mayor is acting as the department spokesperson? BEcause when that goof opens her mouth, the entire world will know just what a goof she is.
JUst like our very own JFed they have a chief who came in from the outside and immediately began to fuck things up.
Can you imagine how it feels for a command officer in CCH to work for years on the job, hoping that you might someday rise to the top, only to find this goof taking your place. However, a Logan Square Yahoo Group post from April 08 has her fronting for the club at a licensing hearing called by Manny Flores. (I can't find a relationship between Manny and Clarissa - her bio at NU basketball says father Anthony Flores.) The Chicago Journal, a now defunct paper run by the Wednesday Journal said she was the "co-owner", and said she and her partners at Aragon put $9 million in. How much of that $9 million was from Chris Kelly's airport fraud?

I am sick and tired of P.O.'s who do stupid shit on the job. Stupid shit like driving fast when it's not necessary, not locking up domestic battery offenders and telling them to go to their friend's home, letting Jose drive off even though he doesn't have a license and insurance, etc....
All of these shortcuts will end up costing your job. How hard is it to do what is necessary and go on with the day? NOT HARD AT ALL and it all comes down to one word; LAZINESS and COMPLACENCY.

i agree with all points except jose w/o license and insurance because depending where you work every stop is no license and no insurance when i first started i was all about tvbing these illegal pricks but after a few months of that i realized that i was only hurting my fellow officers who had to handle my beat or those who called for help and i couldnt help because i was writing some j.o. a tvb. im just saying

Regina Evans obtained the money from the City for the Regal Theatre, which is located on 79th Street just east of Stony.
She received the money from the City with the assistance of then Alderman Beavers and John Stroger.
It was obvious to all at the time that the chances of her doing what she promised were nil.
I agree that this is a prime csse for either Fitzgerald or Alvarez to look at.
The question that either they or the media should ask is what happened to the money?
