Why isn't the media asking these questions? After all, everyone is supposed to sacrifice, right? How about sacrificing some of the over-abundance of clout heavy paychecks rather than shorting the citizens of actual police protection?
- Why is Keating over the Central Control Group consisting of the 001 and 018 District? He is a service rank of Sgt. and gets Deputy pay because he use to work on Mayor's Detail.
We have Lt. and Captains that could replace him at lower salary.
Why do the two PATROLMEN Commanders of the mayors detail get commanders pay?
We have Sergeants, Lt.s and Captains that are trained supervisors and not political hacks like Roti from Bridgeport and Carlow who's mother or Aunt was a secretary to the Mayor!
Why does the Mayor's butler aka administrative assistant civilian get a car and a driver to cart his butt to workout, pick up his son (outside the city) and pack the mayors clothes? And why doesn't he work 8 hours a day?
Why does each of the mayor's children have a car with a driver to drive them to work or shopping, or out on the town?
Why does the mayor take members of his detail up to Michigan in city vehicles, paid time and 1/2 to go grocery shopping for the mayor's wife, pick up take out and transport his children back and forth to the city?
Why does the mayor and his family treat his detail with disrespect? He is an elected official and not a King and she is definitely not the Queen although they act like it.
Why does an employee of Special Events out of the Mayor's office get a take home car? Will there be a call out for their expertise?
Why do we have to call the Alderman's office to have City Services implemented near our homes? Each of those City Service ie. Streets and San, Park District, parking enforcement, clerks office....have supervisors and could assign those services without clout Alderman.
Why does Alderjerk Cardenas issue City Stickers to his staff with residential parking identification surrounding his/ their office as opposed to where they live?
Why do Alderjerks have any input as to what laws should be enforced in their respective Wards. Everyday is a surprise as to what we are allowed to enforce...we have supervisors and don't need additional drain on police and fire resources for friends parking, residential parking...
Why does the Park District allow one of their parking lots be used by citizens/residents overnight and anyone else using a Park District lot have to now pay the meter box?
And I am sure you guys can come up with other examples...
We're sure our readers could come up with dozens more.

That's funny, SCC. One of the best questions was posed, researched and ultimately introduced to the media just earlier tonight.
Mike Shields strikes again, this time calling-out J-Fed, Brust, Masters and Daly as to why they've been paying into OUR pension fund when they're not legally able to do so.
Seems the sneaky feds thought they'd be able to slip this one past the "watchful" eyes of our Pension Board (or maybe it was with the overt blessing of a few of Daley's henchmen on the Pension Board?).
Coming into focus on the big screen tonight was the fact that J-Fed has been contributing 27-Large a year into OUR pension fund since he was APPOINTED Superintendent. The only problem, as exposed by Mike Shields, is that anyone of APPOINTED EXEMPT rank isn't allowed by pension laws/rules to participate in OUR fund. Weis and company had hoped to buy into the remainder of their 10 year minimum required to be vested in and eligible to draw big buck pensions from OUR fund.
If it wasn't bad enough that too many clout-heavy jagoffs have been multi-merit promoted over the years, allowing them to whittle away our severely underfunded pension fund, we now have FEDS trying to backdoor us as well. Seems they took a play out of the Ron Huberman book of scamming the system, only to be defeated by a "lowly patrolman". (Ha ha).
And, as is the usual Chicago rhetoric, Weis' spokesman (who claimed J-Fed was "off on a furlough day") said "there was never any secret plan for the Superintendent and his aides to quietly become members of the police pension plan". Weis' spokeman referred further questions to the Police Department. The Police Department then referred questions on pension policy back to the Pension Board.
May I suggest that every other civilian of exempt rank, retired or not, be scrutinized as well to verify that they're paying into the General Municipal Fund...not OURS. I'd be willing to bet there's a huge number of ineligible people collecting fat pensions courtesy of the blood shed by coppers.
In closing, my sincerest kudos to Mike Shields for another job very well done. Keep up the good work. Make these fucking bastards sweat.

Here is one for you on how citizens can be fools.
From the looks on the 1800 Block of N. Nordica, where they are doing street work, it looks like they are about to put in speed bumps.
Well, you fools, guess what you get for putting in those deliberate traffic hazards.
Over time little things will go wrong with all of your vehicles as to hose inverted pothole take their toll. Electrical connections come loose, little stress fractures develop in your windshields, oil and fuel leaks develop and your vehicles fall apart all that much faster.
Another thing you get, or I should say don't get is me driving down your street looking for burglars, or theft from auto offenders. I don't go down any street or alley that has a speed bump unless I absolutely have to in response to a call. There are areas that put in speed bumps on every block on every sidestreet and they never see a police car drive down that street.
Would you want to dive over 50-60-100 or more speed bumps a day working when you can cruise the mains streets and avoid an aching back?
Right now there is no PDT in my car, it got wrecked by potholes. If I get one, I wouldn't want to risk it, or my car's oil pan, or the disks in my back over some damnfool speed bumps. I might even spill my coffee.
So keep an eye out, and call 9-1-1 only if you really need help, because I won't be crusin' your street anymore, and I will be pissed-off if I have to drive over those damn bumps for bullshit.

Those unions do not have "pension reps."
The Pension Fund has elected board members, some of who are members of their unions by rank but the unions themselves have no direct say in the administration of the pension fund. The fund is administered, supposedly, by Illinois Law.
If you are a PO, your rep, Mike shields, brought this to light and he is trying to get his fellow board members to vote in favor of ousting these non-deserving hanger's on.
What is needed is an avalanche of phone calls and letters to the Pension Fund Board Members opposing the previously mentioned persons from continuing to participate in our fund. Maybe a large show of opposition is called for to get those people out of our fund and into the Municipal Pension fund where they belong.

It's interesting you should mention this. Wasn't it true that Michelle Obama "worked" such a position for U of C? The position of course has since been eliminated, because it served no real purpose anyway other than to kick back money to Obama as a favor for earmarking some funds for the University. Any way to verify this? PS: Michelle's desk was almost always vacant anyway..she was on the campaign trail with Barry most of the time so she was collecting for doing a bullshit job and not even being PRESENT.

It used to be $800 to $1500, provided you were not a car dealer then it was $2000 to $3000, you had to split it up certain ways too.

JK works his ass off to suit him self. By the way, he brought the mayors men under his command so he could stay on top of them: making sure Maggie, Nora, Lally have their drivers available to take them to their fake jobs like their mothers and they take the children out...cause we have babyseats in the cars, go shopping or helping Lally run her little friends around. Ms. Lally was overheard stating that she would not take public transportation to an event that her friends were taking public transportation. Its in their blood... Whats patrick doing in Russia? Hiding out, cause he wasn't doing anything here, nothing left to steal his father and cousin got it all.
