Well...

...that sucked.

8 and 8 is looking like a distinct possibility.

At least things are looking up for the Blackhawks.

i thought cutler was supposed to be the answer here. he's worse than orton was when he was here. orton doesn't seem to be doing too bad out there.

what's going on?

Fuck the Bears!

Have they no decency? No sense of shame? If they have a shred of respect left, they'll cancel the rest of the season and stop impersonating an NFL team.

We can convert Soldier Field into a "Thunderdome" for public school gladiator tournaments. We can pack that motherfucker 7 days a week and turn a profit.....

Fuck the Bears......

How do the Bears bounce back from such a 'demoralizing' team loss?

The Bears were beaten in every facet of the game and now other teams will continue to prey on their open wounds. This loss was worst then the loss to Pittsburgh a few years ago, but that loss came later in the year.

I see nothing better then a 3-7 finish with wins against Cleveland, St. Louis, & Detroit. But, if things are in the dumpster by then, a loss to the Lions is possible. A 2-8 or 3-7 finish should bring a head coaching change. If this happens can we PLEASE have a real head coach like Jon Gruden, Mike Holmgren, Mike Shanahan, or Bill Cowher?

Did you really think Cutler was the answer? Anyone the Bears sign usually is a has been or just a bust.

Time to take a long hard look at the love boy,he is not a good coach but the Bear organization is content with a .500team to appease the fans

the first beer wasn't even drained yet and it was 21-0, man what a stinker.... the hawks vs the wild at the uc tonite 7pm.... huet gets the start again against the 3-7 wild who look offensively challenged up to this point... who will be the first to load up and give havlat a nice welcome home hit.... look for kaner to have a big game-- he looks a little quicker this year while also putting on more weight in the off season--- he has been flying up the ice and splitting the defense which is drawing a lot of penalties...

I started out thinking 9-7, but might have to have the 9 and 7 switch places.

This is fast becoming a rebuilding year.

This would be a lot better team without all the injuries, but thats not an excuse. Many players do better after leaving Chicago.

I heard speculation in the sports media after the 45-10 loss that Chicago, with its HUGE football following and media coverage, is a tough place for a young immature rookie to play after just coming out of college. You have to wonder why there are ex-Bear players around the league that are leading more than serviceable NFL careers elsewhere and why they couldn't accomplish that here. Granted, they are not stars, but they are productive.

Here are some ex-Bear starters around the NFL:

Brendon Ayanbadejo...Baltimore
Cedric Benson........Cincinnati
Bernard Berrian......Minnesota
Alfonso Boone........San Diego
Mark Bradley.........Kansas City
Marc Columbo.........Dallas
Bobby Engram.........Kansas City
Chis Harris..........Carolina
Justin Gage..........Tennessee
Tank Johnson.........Cincinnati
Thomas Jones.........NY Jets
Muhsin Muhammad......Carolina
Ian Scott............San Diego
Bobby Wade...........Kansas City

Now, if we could just get some of our Super Bowl champion players back who are now coaching, we'd be awesome:

Jeff Fisher.......Tennessee
Leslie Frazier....Minnesota
Ron Rivera........San Diego
Mike Singletary...San Francisco

Here's what should be done. They can fire the entire coaching staff and hire J-Fed and his band of merry men to run the team.

Can't you see Jody dressed in a bear uniform (you don't have to be a football player to dress like one) every Sunday pacing the sidelines and threatening everyone who fumbles, drops a pass, etc. with a federal indictment.

It would be priceless.
