Global Warming - Still Dead
And as predicted, the lame stream media is still doing just about everything in it's power to ignore the events of the past few days. This story has Europe in an uproar and most of the info is filtering out through the British press:
- The Times Online - all of the scientific data, you know, that stuff they collect and then are supposed to submit for "peer review" to see if it stands up? Destroyed.
- The Telegraph UK - scientists refusing to release any data so others can set up models and see if the results track across alternative theories.
- The Telegraph UK again - the "climategate" e-mails, all discussing how to get around FOIA requests and how best to destroy incriminating e-mails and files. The writers have already admitted the e-mails are genuine.
- The Guardian (UK) reveals the BBC had the e-mails for a month - and didn't do anything with it until other news outlets started asking questions.
- New Zealand had uncovered it's own falsification of scientific data.
Can someone stuff a sock in Al Gore now? He's made millions on bullshit scientific data, won an Oscar for a movie based entirely on falsehood, and is attempting to force everyone to buy CFL light bulbs that can't even light a room and necessitate an EPA Superfund response should you break one in the living room.
The science isn't "settled." Global warming isn't a foregone conclusion. Global warming may in fact be a good thing as more land becomes livable and farm capable. Carbon dioxide isn't a "poison" as so many greenies want you to believe - plants needs it to create (tada!) oxygen and plants are thriving as never before.
We know a bunch of people are going to give us flak for writing about this. But this is directly related to Obama's "Cap and Trade" effort that would have gutted an already hurting US manufacturing sector and stopped a weak economic recovery in it's tracks. It also would have been overly intrusive into everyone's lives by forcing you to buy certain products solely because the government decided "it's the right thing for you to do."

Plants use Co2 and Sunlight=glucose,
the plant uses this glocose for energy to live and build itself up. O2 (oxygen is released.
Animals eat the plant, Glucose converted to energy and builing the animal,CO2 released back into atmosphere where energy loop repeats itself.
CO2 is not toxic waist, but the building block for All Life.
Al Gore didnt mention that.
I suspected why George Bush had such a big smile on his face as he left the White House for the last time. He was probably thinking “Just wait assholes, you’re going to miss me soon enough”.
If Bush did steal that election that kept Al Gore from being President I say, Thank God he did it.

Fortunately, it appears that the consensus among lawmakers is that "Cap and Trade" is all but dead.
The media in other countries are all writing about this travesty but not in the US. Does the media in the US think we are stupid? They act like ostriches with their heads in the sand.
If the Cap & Trade goes through it is more of our country going towards socialism. All this based on false global warning statements.

Back in the 60s, the hard Left decided it had to go "warm and fuzzy" to hoodwink children and good natured but gullible adults.
The "Green" movement was partially financed by the KGB and East German Stasi when it got organized politically in Germany in the 70s. Party leader Petra Kelly's boyfriend was a retired West German General named Gert Bastain. Gert was a KGB agent. Their goal in Europe was to undermine NATO using green concerns/tactics, hastening the victory of communism.
Same goal stands in the USA, undermine the social order by wrecking the economy and bring about communism. Their chosen vessel to accomplish this is the Democratic party, which the hard left fully seized in the 1970s.
Our challenge in countering this is to be good stewards of the environment, oppose pollution, and stand up for the rights of man at the same time.
There is no real media anymore. What we have is a branch of the Democratic party filtering what they are going to put out through the leftist template. The only place to get the truth is foreign news agencies the Internet or radio. Media watchdogs, ha. Those days are gone. Why do you think the gubmint wants to put restraints on the Internet and radio?

Buy GREEN! Replace all of your perfectly working light bulbs throughout your homes with CFL bulbs that require less energy. BUT they cost 3 to 5 times MORE and contain that environmentally friendly MERCURY! AND, from my experience, they DO NOT last any longer than regular bulbs.
Trade in your "clunker" car for a stimulus check, but in many cases, the "clunker" was running perfectly fine, and was already paid off. People were duped into having their perfectly running vehicles crushed and replaced by another vehicle AND A NEW CAR LOAN!
Lots and lots of people (and Corporations) are fleecing the public on this green technology BS and ITS NOT just Al Gore and the liberals.

Knowledge is power, the gubmint and media don't want people informed. They want to cram this Socialist crap down our throats before we know what hit us. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys S.C.C. to visit freerepublic.com.
I canceled my Sun-Times subscription and get information from this site. I have read articles there that may see the light of day in the mainstream media a few days later.
Mainstream media is in its death spiral, so watch for Obama to bail them out next. It's not as if the media is unbiased, they are in the tank for the socialists, so Obama may return the favor.
