Once again, no investigation is good enough for this putz:
- The Rev. Jesse Jackson is urging Rockford residents to push for a federal investigation into the police shooting of an unarmed man inside a church-run day care.
At a news conference at the day care center, Jackson criticized a grand jury for ruling last week that the shooting was justified.
He urged residents to push for an outcome that's "just and fair."
Rockford officials were the ones calling for an outside investigation, knowing what this would turn into. Now the empaneled grand jury came back with a result Jesse doesn't like and he wants the citizens to agitate for a verdict that may enable him to score more face time and maybe some $$$. And the two witnesses who claim the offender "surrendered?" Refused to appear before the grand jury, so what does that imply?
The dead offender, who had a rap sheet that ran into double digits, ran from the scene of an armed robbery, hid in a building full of children, then attempted to disarm a police officer. We wonder what Jesse would be saying if this criminal was successful in his attempt and managed to wound or kill the pursuing officers and maybe a few dozen kids. Hasn't this stroke reached the point of complete and total irrelevance yet?

I worked in Rockford many moon ago and the PD and States Attorney aren't afraid to do their jobs. Whole different mindset (like they're honorary cheeseheads--seriously). I feel for them here but doubt most people in Rockford will fall for Jesse and the like.

From what I read, Jesse isn't calling for the Feds to investigate, he is urging Rockford residents (democrats) to demand an investigation. He is stirring up shit is all. One of his sons probably needs a Budweiser distributorship.

My daughter is an Assistant States Attorney out there, and she said not only was the grand jury fair, they got it RIGHT. The two subpoenaed witnesses who said it was police overstepping their bounds also didn't bother to show up for the grand jury, but of course are suing the city. If this were even slightly true, then his ex must have had one horseshit attorney! Child support is paid directly from the city and deducted from the employees paycheck. More than likely his ex his bullshitting someone and you fell for it!!!
Read the Rockford paper's story and I am not surprised. Rockford PD, Winnebago SO and SA are good organizations. I worked in Rockford and the attitude is completely different. The Tribune once wrote that Illinois should be divided up and the northern tier of counties from Winnebago to Jo Daviess annexed to Wisconsin because they think they're in Wisconsin anyway.

If true, that very fateful day, he would have made sure to have it preserved for history in a picture, regardless if it was on him or on his clothing or both, but, at the very least, he would have kept the clothing. And he would have used the blood spattered clothing as a visual aid more than once over the years. He's a liar.
For Jesse, a "just outcome" is one in which Jesse gets a lot of air time. That's all he cares about.
