One Again, Gun Stops a Crime
We're surprised this is getting any play at all:
- Two suspects in a home invasion were hospitalized after they were shot by one of the homeowners.
They broke into a home in north suburban Wauconda.
Authorities say two masked men pushed their way into a house near Old Country Way and Indian Ridge Terrace.
Two people inside the house told them to leave, but they refused.
After a fight, one of the homeowners shot the intruders.
Why the homeowners even bothered telling the invaders to leave is a cause for concern, but the rest of the incident seemed to go smoothly up until the point where the criminals are still breathing.

Well, once you get outside da ciddy you find it doesn't take a committee to make simple decisions. Wauconda is in Lake, not Cook County and their States Attorney and Judges aren't afraid to occasionally kick some ass. And it's also not far from Kenosha where a jewelry store owner this summer wasted one of two armed robbers, a shooting that took the D.A. something like two days to investigate and rule justifiable.
Oh no, the criminals will have no way of making their weekly salary... Someone please convict the homeowners of attempted murder.

There was something weird with this though, too. News last night said the offenders (15 and 49) were demanding the release of a family member they claimed was being held against their will by these homeowners. wtf?

every home owner should have a gun. it should get one at your closing. it's your investment and your home, protect it. Screw the machine and his guns are bad slogans. when used properly and for the right reason, guns are extremely effective and useful. Not like our useless alderman and mayor...
Most defense attorneys know better than to go for a jury trial in Lake County also,,,

So who said anything about believing anyone? Just a strange "explanation" for the event, I'd say. But then you obviously already know everything so please, enlighten the rest of us, jagoff.
