Job #1 is to keep a state in the Democratic "win" column in 2012 when B. Hussein Obama seeks reelection.
They know they can't lose Illinois no matter what they do. This issue could make the difference in any other state in a close election. They originally thought of moving them to fellow basket case Michigan. Polling showed it could cost them that state in 2012.
The vile and disgusting Turban Durbin and Gov. Goofy get to spin it as a jobs program for the local alcoholics and meth heads.
The only jobs really generated by this will be for communist lawyers like Obama to defend these pieces of shit.

Obama probably favors this location because it is nice and close to his Chicago home. He probably plans on filling the prison with Fox News personal and just in case he isn’t able to tear up the Constitution and make himself dictator for life he can still hang out at the fence line with a 40 ouncer and taunt them when he retires from making a mockery of the presidency.

Here's the problem, the current crop of corrections offices statewide are NOT ready to even begin to handle this group. Will the military handle the logistics such as guarding these jihadists? Start watching who is buying property in and around this facility.

I'm sick of these politicians saying over and over that no one has ever escaped from a federal prison. Have they ever heard of Alcatraz?? The two brothers that successfully escaped from there were presumed dead by drowning, but the bodies were never found. The US Marshals still have an open warrant on these guys and no proof they died.

We'll assume that Thomson is a slightly better constructed facility than an Afghan prison but keep in mind we will not be receiving low-level taliban militants, drug-dealers and other minor criminals because Gitmo does not house low-level taliban militants, drug-dealers and other minor criminals... These detainees are simply martyrs in waiting. And their path to allah will come to them from the outside.

Based on past taliban tactics I consider the most likely threat to be a coordinated truck/van/car bomb assault with the intent to kill both staff and inmates and NOT to effect an escape.

That's easy to answer.......J-Fed made a phone call. He must have realized that keeping Bill close by, either in state or up in Wis. would be a constant reminder of how he fucked up'd! If he went to Thompson or any other fed pen he could have visitors and J-Fed did not want that.
Bill served a purpose to J-Fed and that was an attempt to show everyone that HE (J-Fed) meant business. Once he was convicted he lost his usefulness and was hidden as far away as possible.
Someone should look into J-Fed's background. Everyone has skeletons in their closets and maybe we should start look for some of Jody's.

It worked at Alcatraz. Of course, they had the benefit of Mother Nature providing sharks all around the prison. The only sharks here will be wearing suits and carrying briefcases.

This is no longer a given.
Look, this President is in office mostly because he is a nice guy. He is charming, witty and likable. Both he and the first lady are able to speak intelligently and are socially pleasant and graceful enough that they don't offend people.
Barack Obama caught lightning in a bottle. He could not have been elected 10 yrs ago, and will probably not be elected again. He was smart to distance himself (it was imperative!) from traditional black politicians so as not to be considered one of THEM.
NO OTHER BLACK CANDIDATE could have won election at this point in time. In fact, when Jesse Jackson was caught on an open microphone saying he'd like to "cut his nuts off", that probably made Obama even more palatable and acceptable to mainstream Americans. This was the black political conscience rejecting the "black" candidate because he wasn't black enough.
He was acceptable to a sufficient number of white Americans because he was not 100% black, (his mom was white) and he was raised in and had his own traditional American family structure. He also recognizes and supports the concept and values of most of middle America.
His Achilles heel will be his politics. Though only into his term by less than a year, he is starting to try to shove his socialistic ideals down the throats of all Americans and there WILL BE A BACKLASH!!!
BY NO MEANS is this President guaranteed the votes of Illinois and his politics will most likely result in his being a ONE TERM President, providing a viable Republican candidate emerges, (AND IT SURE THE F*CK IS NOT SARAH PALIN!!!).

One of the main probles is thet O'Hare Airport will have some of these folks comming thru.
In addaition to the regular club fed flights, this creates more problems.
Daley has gutted the CPD at the airport, they are at less than half of what they had, also Aviation Police is short, and because of Daley and his evil little staff, don't even have guns to protect themselves, much less anyone else!
Also, think of all the grant money Daley&Company have lost.
Solution: Instead of constantine wire, line the top of the entire perimeter fencing with various types of pork products.
Pork is to the Muslim Man what employment is to a West Sider.

Thomson Prison Is Approachable, Gitmo Not
Just fit them all with a collar embedded with an explosive charge, with a sensor that will blow their fucking heads off if they venture within 100 yards of the established perimter.
After a few heads pop off, you won't have any trouble with these guys.
I think the land around that prison is just the thing for a series of hog farms. That way, no matter which way the wind blows...

For the State of Illinois, death row is at the Pontiac Correctional Center. Actual executions by lethal injection occur in the Tamms supermax prison, over 300 miles south of Pontiac.

We weren't even thinking of a tank - we were thinking of a dump truck filled with fertilizer and diesel fuel. Or maybe a tanker truck filled with ammonium nitrate? You know, there are maybe a few thousand of those things parked around Illinois farm land. The term "tank trap" was merely a generic term for something to intercept a VBIED.
