Another "Innie"

  • He was a father of five; a former city worker whose friends say he was an outstanding man. But early Friday morning, Anthony Anglin was shot and killed in his home by masked gunmen.

Anglin was shot to death during a home invasion inside his Morgan Park home in the 10800 block of South Sangamon Street. Neighbors described the 72-year-old father of five as a man loved by all.

Friends were stunned that violence has touched what they call their close-knit, crime-free community.
Crime free? Not according to others in the neighborhood:
  • "He was a family man, raised his children, good neighbor, they were church goers. The salt of the earth," said Rev. Janet P. Moore, a longtime family friend. "This is awful that we live in this community, which is supposed to be a pretty nice community but the criminal element has just gone wild."
That seems to be happening a lot lately. It's almost there aren't any police to protect the decent neighborhoods anymore.

I think it would be interesting to track the crime brought on by transplanted project shitheads. Whether the offenders were local or recently vouchered in project rats.

Your wrong! I know all 5 of his kids and the one who ran out of the house is the only problem! He wasn't "wacked" for insurance money, it was a HI and his son was the target. Mr. Anglin was a good person, have some class and respect! I bet your one of the assholes that make us all look bad

Not enough Police? Yeah...It's like playing a professional football game with only five players, because the owner can't afford to pay the rest so he says. But the owner has money in the bank and is constantly spending money on stuff. End result.....of course, you get badly beaten. Same situation here in Shitcago.

Two arrested for the the murder, Leroy Owens, 27, and Jonathan Robinson, 25.

Two male African-American honor students.

I am absolutely shocked and appalled that these two fine looking young men would be accused like this. Shocking, simply shocking.

Burn in hell you savages.
---

On another note, this is becoming standard around town. I worked Special Employment recently at a large airport within the city limits.

A large, real large, African-American woman struggles under her load to make it to a seat near where I was taking a breather, after 7 hours my feet hurt.

She never saw me before nor I her. She begins a conversation by asking "You ain't gonna' harass me are you because I always get harassed by white poleese because I am black" "I'm an educated person"

Obviously.

That was the opener.

Then she goes on and on about white people, mayor daley, polish, irish, slave ships and how she always gets waked up at the airport but only because she is black.

She continued but it was more of the same. Still, I hadn't said a word. Never did say a word, she just went on and on. I was cautious, mindful she was the same size and shape woman who killed Rick Francis. I got up and walked away, still hadn't said a word.

That is how it is getting to be here. All over.

So now the question is simply one of which state with no income tax do I retire to. I could maybe stand other part of Illinois but definitely not with any population of the Chicago style of LINK card carrying democrat.

Thanks to Daley and his cronies, there are no more decent areas in the city. Ever since he figured out that he and his buddies could make billions on the land the projects were currently on, the violent garbage that had been centralized got farmed out to all the neighborhoods in the city. It may even be true that we are down in homicides and agg batts, which I doubt, but by tearing down the projects and giving these animals section 8 across the city, it has resulted in violence escalating in areas that used to be considered nice. Not only has Shortshanks bankrupted the city, but in his greed, he has jeopardized the lives of every citizen in the city. The proble, though, is that people don't care or pay attention until something occurs to them or in their immediate area. And by then, it's too late. God, I just pray that I can make it to retirement
