CPD v CFD Baseball
CPD won 8-5. But this little observation from attendees:
- CPD Baseball beat CFD Sat[urday] at the Cell 8-5 thanks to a Grand Slam in the 8th inning. Great game but one question...why did J-Fled sit on the fire side the whole game???
Maybe he...
- ...didn't know (likely)
- ...didn't care (more likely)
- ...wanted to spread the bad vibes to CFD (most likely)
- ...Masters Masters Masters told him to sit there (ding!)
Eh, who cares. We didn't want him sitting by us anyway.

Because he wanted to show the firemens spouses his pumpitude& recent fanny waxing,
He didn't know he was sitting on the wrong side, just like he doesn't know how to be a cop.
His seat provided the quickest route to exist the ball park.
Give J-Fled credit where credit is due. Call it karma, feng shui, reverse psychology, "predictive analysis", etc. The jinx sat with the firefighter fans and the CPD won.
Now if only he'd take this visionary strategy to its logical conclusion.
He left in the second inning. Don't know where he sat before that. Rip him all you like. Just do it accurately.
my favorite part of the game was when a foul ball damn near hit him. luckily one of his goons caught it. I think j-fled's enormous head has a gravity field or something.
hear he ran for the exit when the fireworks went off.
There was last minute screw up- CFD forgot the pompons and cheerleading outfit they had promised him.
Thanks to all participating and/or attending the CPD-CFD game.
This was a great 'escape' event away, for a while anyway, from the daily BS.
Prior to the game, a group of patriotic motorcycle riders entered the ball field via the center field gate, surrounded the infield on their bikes adorned with American flags.
'Amazing Grace' was bagpiped over the Sox P.A. system, followed by an on-field '21 gun salute' by our CPD Honor Guard,(echo)'Taps' then our 'National Anthem.'
Representatives from the Haymaker, Wortham, Soderberg and Bailey CPD families along with members from FF Wheatley (CPD) and FF Carey (Homewood) families were all allowed to throw a symbolic '1st Pitch' on behalf of their loved one's.
After the player(s) introduction a great game followed with the CPD's "FINEST" pulling it out in the 8th inning with a 'grand-slammer' by Anderson that put us over the top of the CFD's "BRAVEST."
This is a great event for kids and the attendance, while good, could have been better.
Advance tix were only five bucks, ten dollars at the gate, with all proceeds benefiting CPD/CFD Memorial Foundation/Gold Badge Society.
A great day for a great cause.
Hope to see you there next year.

ok, now take his prick out your mouth.
"predictive analysis" said he will be out as a cop soon so he be looking for another do nothing gig as fire chief
The COP Team doesn't want him!!!!!!!
When his contract as Supt of CPD expires Shanks will hire him to head up (pun intended) the CFD.
He knows nothing about being a Police Officer and he will bring his expertise to the CFD, of which he also has none.
Who hit the grand salami?
maybe he's afraid to sit by us in a non official capacity...especially when alcohol might be involved
It was priceless to see him in another uniform he should not of been wearing. Now he is a baseball player too! He was too scared to sit on police side
GOTTA RUN!
He want to be like the mayor hate the police but loves the fire dept.
Thank you to all the police and fire that stopped by and bought raffle tickets and t-shirts for the Densey Cole Fundraiser. We had a tough time competing against the 4 waitresses from The Tilted Kilt working for the Fire Dept Gold Star Families, but it was worth a shot.
Please dont forget to buy your tickets in the near future for Densey's party. For more info, go to

Thanks everyone. It is really appreciated.
duh....
He has more in common with firefighters then police officers!
Since the Police hate him, he figured maybe he could make some friends with the firemen.
Well....he didn't have to show up now did he?
Northside would be glad to hear that JFled volunteered to be the designated CPD ... "Pinch Runner"
He stated that while he's not good at baseball, he's certainly familiar with the latter. "Gotta Run!"
