This is good stuff:
- This ladies and gentlemen IS the final nail in the J-Jag coffin. SHAKMAN MODERATORS set this up to finally kill the way promotions are handed out among city workers, the city has taken the bait hook line and sinker and J-Fled is in mucho hot water. This administration will go down in flames and October is a nice start.
-crime is through the roof,national attention
-daley snubs shakman moderators,by suggesting that the decree be lifted because the city is legit
-Weis is a kool-aide a holic who could have done great things but
fucked up royale.
-Weis has irrepairably tarnished the FBI rep.
-Morale is non-existant
-law suits against J-Fled are costing and will cost the city millions.
...shall I go on...?
Even if it isn't 100% on, it's still great fun.

Judge: Sheriff Dart on target on Shakman

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office has made strides toward complying with the Shakman decree, a federal judge said Monday.
U.S. District Judge Sidney Schenkier said Sheriff Tom Dart has made “significant progress” by laying out new standards for hiring, firing and promotions and investigating complaints of political discrimination.
The Shakman decree is the longstanding federal court order that bars politics from being a consideration in most hiring and firing for local government jobs in Chicago and Cook County.
The sheriff’s office has been working with court-appointed Shakman monitors for three years.
The judge said he expects the department to be in full compliance by its next check-in this fall.
Man, if the F.B.I. is loaded with lapdogs like this guy, it's no wonder Daley [America's Most Corrupt Mayor] is still out and about.

It happened to me. Called the Sgts Assoc. and was advised to file a grievance against the Medical Section. I did that and the situation got resolved.
