Another Dead-On Comic

If "Police Limit" isn't part of your weekly reading, it should be. The link is over on the right hand side.

Gotta run

To wit: Weis, a former career FBI agent who drew flak for wearing a Chicago Police uniform, was attending an event honoring former N.Y.C. police chief Bill Bratton --when a luncheon speaker lauded former Chicago Police Supt. O.W. Wilson, who had also never been a Chicago cop, for not wearing a police uniform.

»

• The buckshot: "You could have heard a pin drop," said a Sneed source who was at the Sept. 21 Illinois Academy of Criminology luncheon at the Union League honoring Bratton with the O.W. Wilson award.

• The upshot: When queried later about posing for a picture with Bratton and former Chicago top cops LeRoy Martin, Matt Rodriguez, Terry Hillard and Phil Cline, Weis, who was in a rush out the door, reportedly declined by stating: "I'm too busy."

Sneed's Sunday columns headline is "Weis strafed at luncheon for wearing police uniform?"

Wonder who the speaker was the ripped Weiss for wearing the uniform. Sneed reports that J-Fled fled the luncheon as soon as it ended saying he didn't have time for pictures.

Karma is mutha fucker!

I don't know just what is going on or just what the Pension Board is hiding, but it is now October and no Annual Report for 2009 has yet been published. I have called several times in the past few months and have been told that it is at the printer. Maybe it would be a good idea to start a campaign of phone calls requesting the report. I have had no luck in contacting my representative, Houser. They all seem to have unlisted numbers.
Even for those of you that do not read it, or do not understand it, it contains a wealth of information about the health of the fund. I believe that it is required by state law. It would be nice to know just what is ging on.

No, I'm in Philadelphia. I used to work for the Prison System. I also enjoy sunsets and long walks on the beach.

All crime stats are made up bullshit. They're not measuring crime, they're measuring offenses that made it far enough to get officially reported. The actual incidence of crime is a whole different matter.
